to me it sounds like Palin is against illegals and for deporting them as I am.
Rush Limbaugh, in his interview of Palin, actually ended with a question on immigration. This was the exchange, according to Vdare:
Limbaugh: Thirty seconds: Immigration. Can you do it in 30 seconds before we have to go?
Gov. Palin: I cant do it in 30 seconds but just know that
You know, let me put it simply: illegal immigrants are called illegal for a reason. We need to crack down on this. We need to listen to the border states where the governors there have some solutions and we need to get serious about that.

“Do you then favor an amnesty for the 12 or 13 million undocumented immigrants?”
[SP]No, I do not. I do not. Not total amnesty. You know, people have got to follow the rules. They’ve got to follow the bar, and we have got to make sure that there is equal opportunity and those who are here legally should be first in line for services being provided and those opportunities that this great country provides.
“To clarify, so you support a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrants?”
[SP]”I do because I understand why people would want to be in America. To seek the safety and prosperity, the opportunities, the health that is here. It is so important that yes, people follow the rules so that people can be treated equally and fairly in this country.”

She’s so clearly out of her league and/or brainwashed by Mr. Amnesty himself, McCain, she has no idea what amnesty is or what it means to hard-working Americans, especially in the desert Southwest. And she had to put in her “fellow traveler” Communist jingo in there too, pandering just a little.
