Mika Brzezinski's Revelation: Too Much Focus on 'One or Two' Crazies in ObamaCare Aftermath

If you've tuned on the news, specifically MSNBC, you don't have to watch for very long to see the network views focusing on fringe elements of the right as a newsworthy endeavor.

However, as MSNBC "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski suggested, discretion should be exercised with the amount of attention given to these radical components of the opposition to President Barack Obama's health care reform endeavors.

"Yeah, call it out but also I think we have to be careful along the way," Brzezinski said on the March 26 broadcast. "I think this happened during the campaign. I think this happened during the final hours of the health care debate where certain fringe, really minute members of it were highlighted."

I have not yet seen any direct evidence of anything actually happening that was a threat from the right. The voicemails were nasty but not threatening. All the threats come from the left.

Currently on Mika’s kindle: “Cliff Notes: Rules for Radicals by Saul Alinsky”.

She gonna get fired if she keeps on with the “reading” thing!

I can't watch this show anymore. Used to be that Scarborough acted like a conservative 5% of the time. It's a liberal love fest in the morning.

BTW, Mika's two most used words are "really" and "interesting."

The ‘crazies’ have become the unchallenged image of the GOP for better or for worse. There are no more Buckleys with ideas.

As she continuously watches the camera to be sure it's focused on her. Never saw anything like it.

Scarborough used to be one of the most outspoken House conservatives in the 90's.

But then dollar signs and fame were dangled in front of him and he sold his soul. He got a new wife and a new life.

Can't stand to look at the guy now.

I think there are one or two crazies on the “Morning Joe” show.

“I can’t watch this show anymore. Used to be that Scarborough acted like a conservative 5% of the time. It’s a liberal love fest in the morning. “

I try to watch, I like to know what the enemy is saying, but I can’t watch for long. The cast of commies keeps expanding, Chuck Todd, Andrea Mitchell, etc.

Both Joe and Mika have lurched leftward, but Mika isn’t as well spoken. Mika’s typical day is spent making faces to what is being said. Faces that seem to indicate some uncomfortable constipation. Really not flattering, and feeds the whole dumb blonde stereotype.

Don’t know about the new wife thing, but for the right price, most of us freepers would do the same. For the kind of cash Joe makes, yeah, I’d probably do what he does.

There's a reason for that. ABC wouldn't interview Tom Sowell or Antonin Scalia if you gave them a million dollars.

There's a whole list of really good people from Heritage Foundation and various righty think-tanks who are untouchable. You probably know about a couple of them. I just put up Sowell. There's also Eugene Volokh, a law professor out west, and Don Kates, both solid on 2A issues. Never see 'em on TV -- and won't.

Both Joe and Mika have lurched leftward......

They "grew".

Somebody passed them the word, in a very practical and grounded sort of way. "If you want to stay here ....."

Yes but without TV interviews, they would have to write books [and then maybe get an interview!!]

Speak for yourself but, personally, I don't think "most" freepers would pull a Specter to leave the conservative cause and hawk an evil cause thereby boosting MSNBC.
