He says he hasn't slept since that day - from shame or fear? It would be great to see some of the comments he references that have scared him.

Maybe he hopes that this article will placate the people that are angry at him. Ha! Good luck with that, though.

I think he had a good point. Help the truly needy with charity, not with the coercion of government.

Ohio Democrats plan to use the incident to raise money.

The dems are scum.

Organizers on both sides of the debate quickly condemned the actions of Reichert and the other man, who still has not been identified.

So, what did the other guy do? The double standard at work again!

anti-health care demonstrators

The great lie, buried amongst the lesser lies. The demonstrators are ANTI-FASCISTS.

Yeah, I saw Mathews play this clip over and over. Mistake playing into the stereotype. Someone should have tried to get into the details of the guy's story. I assume with Parkinsons, he can't work. If that is the case, I would imagine he was already in the government safety net, i.e. on SSI and Medicaid. So Obamacare would not have been directed to this guy anyway. Makes me wonder how much of this episode may have been staged.

“I’ve been looking at the web sites,” he said. “People are hunting for me.”

This is why he is scared.

"I snapped. I absolutely snapped and I can't explain it any other way,"

Just wait till a few more folks snap an "go medical" because rationing is about to kill their loved ones. Postal workers will start to look like pikers.

Just like the Black Caucus marching thru the Tea Party crowd, the sick guy sat down in front of the demonstrators hoping to bait them into doing something that could be YouTubed. And even when absolutely nothing happens the Left will say it did, as with the reports of people yelling "Kill him!" (Obama) at McCain/Palin campaign events.

Its going to really get rough during the coming immigration/amnesty push.

When you own the press, you own the (stupid) people.

Get a gun, Reichert, and stop apologizing.
Once you apologize, they own you.

Give the guy credit for owning up to his actions! Leftists hardly ever apologize for theirs! We all know what it is and the LSM can only inflame the morons.

I have a soft spot for people with Parkinson’s as I have a neurological disorder and my grandfather died a very slow death from this disease. That being said, right now the left will use anything they can to discredit Tea partiers. I would rather have seen this guy take out his “anger” on an SEIU thug or whatever..However, maybe he should have sat next to him and asked him why he feels the way he does and then move on.

Believe me, I am as frustrated and ticked as the next guy... have been to a half dozen Tea parties, ran down to DC for the last rally, town halls, phone calls, emails, etc. But unfortunately one of those “wrong place at the wrong time”. I can’t stand the tactics of the left as they are despicable. However, we need to show that we are for and of the people and that we represent all the good citizens of the USA.
