This will put a dent in the crime rate in New Orleans.

Great news. LA was the hotbed of controversy with the ill-named (by anti-gunners) "Shoot the carjacker law".

What the anti-gunners didn't anticipate is that, even liberals, wanted the carjackers shot dead. NOLA was the scene of several, bloody, senseless carjackings in the mid-1990s, where the criminals would simply murder you in broad daylight in the intersection to get your car.

The would-be victim called 911, but McElveen died before paramedics could arrive to treat him, coroner's chief investigator John Gagliano said.

"Ok buddy, I'm dialing as fast as I can...oh my, what's that emergency number again...whoops I'm so jumpy after what just happened that I dropped my phone...gosh it's dark here, where did it go, under the car? let me check under there..."

McElveen, wounded, dropped his gun and fell to the ground. The would-be victim called 911, but McElveen died before paramedics could arrive to treat him,

Good job.....he didn't even get his truck bloody.

We often chastise those reporters who call the robber the "victim" and address him as "Mr." The reporter, Mr. Vargas, got this right. Kudos!

What a shame he had to waste more than one bullet on the slimeball. Maybe the truck driver can get reimbursed through Obama care for the extra bullets since this will be one more loser thug who won’t be getting his free socialist care.
