SNIPPET: "DALLAS (CN) - For the third time, a judge has ruled that Farmers Branch, Texas, violated the Constitution by enacting an ordinance that banned undocumented immigrants from renting apartments in the city, and barred landlords from renting to them.

U.S. District Judge Jane Boyle said the ordinance was an attempt to enforce federal immigration laws, which only the federal government can do."

SNIPPET: "The ruling was praised by Lisa Graybill, legal director of the American Civil Liberties Union of Texas."

Bank robbery is a federal crime too. Should local law enforcers not stop bank robberies?

Criminals can’t be excluded from renting apartments.

Apartment owners have no rights to their own property.

How about... go and arrest those here illegally and boot them out of our country?

Stand down order on our borders went out from the corporations a while back. Want an EU-style ‘North American’ citizenship.

In my county, the illegals would be advised to pack up and leave because there would be no work for them nor would they have any protection under the law from anything that might happen. They would be escorted to the Oklahoma border and you know how they feel about illegals in the Sooner state. Now, I don’t know any of this first hand but not seeing any illegals around here I am just making an astute observation.

What a joke. That is not unconstitutional. More making up of laws.

We might take a look at our elected judges as well as the ones appointed.

If immigration is a law only the feds can enforce, and the feds are not doing their job, then does that mean the law no longer exists? Or does someone else assume authority?

The court is shameful.

Fine. The next time the local post office or other federal building is robbed and someone calls 911, the dispatcher should tell them “Sorry, this is a federal crime. You’ll have to call the feds instead, since local police cannot enforce federal laws.”

We have so many battle fronts. The progressives (marxists) have infiltrated just about every part of our nation. They are like a disease, an organism, a cancer. It may take radical surgery to rid our national body of this insidious gangrene. Each one of us must think of ourselves as being one tooth of the saw that will remove the cancer infecting our country.

It's a violation of federal immigration laws to aid and abet an illegal alien. To knowingly rent an apartment to an illegal alien is aiding and abetting an illegal alien.

Yes, I’ve read that before.

It’s unknown to me if federal law has changed recently.

Thank you. That is exactly what I wanted to know.

Free medical care and expected amnesty is the draw, I suppose.
