Cash is a good policy for those who can’t properly handle a credit card.

The article doesn't mention the fact that credit declined in 2009 because of massive defaults, not because people paid it down.
The banks then stole the underlying assets.

I can’t imagine going back to walking into a station and waiting in line to talk to a human to pay for gas instead of just paying at the pump.

I'm glad to hear that these folks finally saw the light. It may amaze them to know that there are some folks who have always lived within their means.
It says something about our society today that such a basic concept is something of an epiphany.

Next, when people don’t have cash because Obama and the Dems have wrecked the economy, will be the barter system. Or the robbery system...

Credit FTW. If I lose cash, it’s gone. If I lose a credit card, it’s an inconvenience. They have much stronger fraud protection than debit cards. A temporary authorization isn’t going to put a hold on the funds in my checking account. I get to borrow money for 30 days at no charge. If there’s an emergency, I can revolve a balance as long as I can meet minimums. What’s not to love?

If these Socialist want to dictate everything we eat, buying cash will leave no trail via your credit card.
Ditto that anything you do with your wealth, which may have to be redefined, i.e things that help you survive (the coming collapse...)
Going Galt via seld sufficency apparatuses (chain saws, generators etc) purchased quietly with cash may go un-noticed by the nanny state.
