Democratic Congressman Earl Pomeroys vote Sunday for President Obamas national health care plan seems to have had little impact so far on North Dakotas U.S. House race.
A new Rasmussen Reports telephone survey of likely voters in the state, taken Tuesday night, shows Republican Rick Berg leading Pomeroy by seven points, 51% to 44%. Just one percent (1%) prefer some other candidate in the race, and four percent (4%) are undecided.
Last month, in Rasmussen Reports first Election 2010 survey of the race, Berg led Pomeroy by six, 46% to 40%. Incumbents who earn less than 50% of the vote at this stage of a campaign are viewed as vulnerable.
Pomeroy, a member of the House since 1993, was reelected to his ninth term in the House in 2008 with 62% of the vote.

Pomeroy can do a reality show: My Name is Earl.
We need to keep highlighting the Democrats who are in trouble.
Failure is contagious!!!!
I remember Pomeroy's name because years ago on Rush some kid called in and said he was Pomeroy's nephew (or something). The kid claimed to be a conservative. Wonder if the uncle turned the kid Rat?
I hope the people of ND realize that Nov may be the last chance to save their country.

Great point. The Dems are lying and smearings - we need their side to realize they are doomed in Nov and also make it happen. Campaigning, rasing money, etc.
Wait til the commercials start. It’s gonna be easy to focus voters’ attention this year.
This is great news- Rick was Rep when I lived in Fargo.
First Dorgan now perhaps Pomeroy-what a great day for
my home state.
