NEWS RELEASE

RIGHT TO LIFE OF MICHIGAN

************************* RLM-PAC rescinds Reppresentative Stupak's endorsement

On Wednesday, March 24, the Right to Life of Michigan political action committee notified U.S. Representative Bart Stupak that his endorsement was rescinded.

In a letter sent to Representative Stupak, the RLM-PAC qualified how the endorsement criteria was no longer met.

Right to Life of Michigan Political Action Committee Director Larry Galmish said: "The letter noted the endorsement had been based on Representative Stupak's voting record, previous interview and completion of a questionnaire in which Representative Stupak indicated he would oppose any efforts to include federally funded abortion in national health care plans; support efforts to specifically exclude federally funded abortion in national health care plans; and be willing to vote against federal funding of abortion except where necessary to save the life of the mother."

On March 21, Representative Stupak failed to meet those requirements by voting for President Barack Obama's health care bill, H.R. 3590.

Galmish said, "In accordance with the Right to Life of Michigan political action committee bylaws and by the March 23 unanimous vote of the RLM-PAC board, the Right to Life of Michigan political action committee rescinded Representative Stupak's endorsement, effective immediately."

Another member of the U.S. House from Michigan who calls himself prolife, yet voted in support of H.R. 3590, is Representative Dale Kildee.

While Represebtative Kildee was endorsed by the Right to Life of Michigan PAC in the past, he did not meet the RLM-PAC criteria in 2008 and was not endorsed by the RLM-PAC in that election.

Representative Kildee does not meet RLM-PAC's definition of prolife.

I imagine someone like Teddy could only mouth the words and not ask for true forgiveness from God. The words don’t count unless one is truly repentent.

I think I read where ole Armand Hammer (infamous old commie who ran occidental petroleum ) had a deathbed conversion. Yeah right. The idiot probably thought he could fool God.

From the outside, it appears that the Catholic Church is for abortion regardless of who pays for it.

Some of the biggest supporters of abortion in government are catholics, but the Church doesn't kick them out or whatever the Church does if someone really offended the Church and it's teachings. Tacit approval?

We're talking about taking the life of the most innocent human soul, one completely at our mercy so where's the knuckle cracking if the Church has a problem with it? That must mean the Church approves, right?

The 'what would Jesus do?' thing got overplayed and lost it's meaning. Let's try it from a different perspective: 'what would Satan do?' and how would it look different?

Bart Stupak.

A name that will go down in infamy.

If Unborn Life were a nation, then Stupak would be guilty of Treason, as defined by the Constitution.

Section 3. Treason against the Unborn, shall consist only in levying War against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.

Stupak sold out the Unborn for national recognition; he sold out his professed principles to the raw power of the Presidency and the “leadership” of the House of Representatives; he deceived the American people into believing he was a defender of the Unborn, whereas he caved to his weakness for political gravy and peer approval.

Personally, I will stand before any court that may try Mr. Stupak for treason, as one of his accusers. I would think that somewhere in this great nation, another American can be found who would witness to his same “overt act.” But more important, and more chilling, I believe, is the fact that someday he must stand before someone more important than the American people. He will be called upon to “Confess in open Court” to his treason to the Unborn. He will be required to stand before God and confess his treachery against those who are defenseless and reliant upon reasoned men and women for protection.

I wrote an e-mail to Mr. Stupak, advising he that he should visit the following website:

http://standwithstupak.com/

Prior to Stupak’s treasonous act of last Sunday night, that website sang the praises of Stupak, and even produced a video in support of his “courageous” stand against those who would fail to protect the Unborn. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4TTC6FJphWA) Alas, those men, that organization, were betrayed even as the rest of we believers in Stupak’s professed cause.

The website remains.

Its sentiment has changed. Treason digs deeply at the loyalty of believers.

I am reminded of Cicero, speaking of treaon:

A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation, he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of the city, he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to fear. The traitor is the plague.
