NEWS RELEASE
RIGHT TO LIFE OF MICHIGAN
************************* RLM-PAC rescinds Reppresentative Stupak's endorsement
On Wednesday, March 24, the Right to Life of Michigan political action committee notified U.S. Representative Bart Stupak that his endorsement was rescinded.
In a letter sent to Representative Stupak, the RLM-PAC qualified how the endorsement criteria was no longer met.
Right to Life of Michigan Political Action Committee Director Larry Galmish said: "The letter noted the endorsement had been based on Representative Stupak's voting record, previous interview and completion of a questionnaire in which Representative Stupak indicated he would oppose any efforts to include federally funded abortion in national health care plans; support efforts to specifically exclude federally funded abortion in national health care plans; and be willing to vote against federal funding of abortion except where necessary to save the life of the mother."
On March 21, Representative Stupak failed to meet those requirements by voting for President Barack Obama's health care bill, H.R. 3590.
Galmish said, "In accordance with the Right to Life of Michigan political action committee bylaws and by the March 23 unanimous vote of the RLM-PAC board, the Right to Life of Michigan political action committee rescinded Representative Stupak's endorsement, effective immediately."
Another member of the U.S. House from Michigan who calls himself prolife, yet voted in support of H.R. 3590, is Representative Dale Kildee.
While Represebtative Kildee was endorsed by the Right to Life of Michigan PAC in the past, he did not meet the RLM-PAC criteria in 2008 and was not endorsed by the RLM-PAC in that election.
Representative Kildee does not meet RLM-PAC's definition of prolife.
Hey Bart, can you say “thrown under the bus” or how about “political suicide”
Stupak sold babies out for 30 pieces of silver on a Sunday.
Oh, wait - no media coverage of the event. Wonder if everybody was wearing white lab coats like the doctor stand-ins at the promo events.
If they didn’t excommacate Kennedy, don’t think they will do it to him.
Saw a woman comment somewhere that conservatives were being hypocritical in reacting to Stupak’s executive order from Obama because we “supposedly” cheered when Bush signed the executive order banning the government funding of stem cell research.
What this poster neglected to mention is that Bush signed this executive order in November 2008, and Obama rescinded this executive order in March 2009, (one his first such acts).
The Stupak exective order may not even have the same four moth life-span as the stem cell executive order.
I’d like to see him go under the Pope-mobile next.
National Right to Life, NRTL, bullied the House Republicans in November to vote for Stupak. As a result, HC passed the House.
NRTL, more than anyone else, is responsible for this whole mess, without their intervention HC wouldnt have gotten by the House. They will have lakes of baby blood at their feet over the decades.
NRTL is a detestable, disgusting organization, on the level of Planned Parenthood.
He doesn’t give a rats ass! He is temporarily empowered enriched beyond his wildest dreams spending money on things and living it up. But when the confetti and balloons all settle and pop Stupid will turn to barry soetoro and remind him of the promise made to him and barry soetoro will spin and stall on his promises and keep him in wanting. If Stupid continues to harass barry soetoro, Soetoro will release the dogs on him or maybe conveniently, send him on a trip that will end up like mr. Browns.
Thanks, sure he got Last Rites, so all is forgiven. Mary Jo is happy to see him.
Maybe it’s time to start again because Catholics aren’t being very good Catholics!
>> But when the confetti and balloons all settle and pop...
He’ll eventually realize the gravity of his decisions.
Where’s the Bishop on this one?
It has to be a “True” confession. If one continually yields to sin and temptation, one can’t do that. The light of conscience goes out, and darkness is preferred to light. It’s not magic on the part of the priest.
People choose hell over the course of a lifetime, God doesn’t put them there. They choose it.
If he did go to confession, did the Priest tell him pray 10 Hail Marys, 20 Our Fathers and go sin no more.
Please forgive me, but I hope Ted and Stupack rot in hell.
I don’t think they’re in the same place.
I hope you are right!!!!
May Ted rot in Hell!!
