It is funny how Breyer’s interpretation of the Constitution allows him to rule in a way that almost perfectly matches what he believes politically. Almost as if he makes it up to get the outcome he wants.

Exactly. The one true test of whether you are actually trying to 'interpret' the Constitution or whether you are lying through your teeth as cover for doing what you want is whether it causes you to make a different decision than you would if the document didn't exist.
If, like the Brits, our form of government had just evolved along the way, then we would still have courts and some sort of adminstering government. The real issue is whether the US Constitution makes a difference that matters today. For the statists, it does not. All that matters is power, and how much power you can personally wield.

It would be tough for me (or you) to be an unbiased judge. At least we would have some moral authority and not whatever the left has.
