Are there any laws that state that the insurance company must notify you 30-60-90 days before policy change?

Our open-enrollment period ends Oct. 31 and takes effect Jan. 1 so I will know in October what the premiums are going to be for the following year.

I am lost. Are you saying people need to begin something now? I am on Medicare and have a Dr., I guess I will need to call him as see what he intends to do. Yes?

You say open-enrollment ends Oct 31/2010, so what happens if someone misses that?
