This mandate, and the others previously, and the soon-to-come followup "Blanket Amnesty", and likely, "Reparations" will just keep on flowing until the USA defaults on its debt, and the Chinese can waltz in without firing a shot....
You see, these GOP hacks want your vote, but like the democrats, don’t want to give the public what they want.

Let’s say we leave it alone and repeal the rest of the bill. What happens next? Oh, right, whatever remains free in the insurance industry collapses, and the federal government steps, just like they did with the banks and the car manufacturers, shakes its head, says, “Sorry, guys, that was your last chance.”
Why would you have them run on an issue that has no chance of coming to fruition before 2012?

For those who listened today to Rush, a young lady executive in a large insurance co stated some alarming facts.
People will be lulled into a “this is not so bad” twilight by these rats hoping you will vote for them in 2010. It is on January 1 st 2011 when all insurance co. will be required by this new socialist healthcare bill passed to pay 85% claims instead of the 65 they pay now. They will have to hike the premiums 200 to 300 % the rats will claim these evil insurance co are killing the American people and they will welcome with open arms the national socialist healthcare
Some quick math, I will be paying for my present family plan 17,640 per year
I say this to my hubby ALL the time. Why, oh why, can't republicans understand the whenever they just go for the "reasonable", "moderate", type of fix; that somewhere along the line a Democrat will get a hold of this and turn it into something truly awful. (And this thing is starting out truly awful.)
Leaving the structure in place for single-payer, government run health care is no solution.
Repeal is it! And you can't simply say, no we can't do that because it is too hard. Do it anyway!

I'm sure you understand that the funds to pay for the new socialized healthcare system in the US do not exist now, cannot be borrowed at a decent interest rate, and that the US cannot even keep up with the interest payments on the debt it has now, right?
Further, in order to remain "solvent" (or give the appearence of being so), the US will continue to print money (thereby increasing inflation) and borrow at unfavorable rates. This will - in a short time - ruin the country completely.
To reverse this trend, at least the new socialized healthcare system would have to be privatized.
But guess how many folks that would leave without their "govt paid for or govt subsidized" healthcare? Oh...I erred. I didn't mean to use the term "folks"; I meant to use the term VOTER.
Does anyone think for a skinny little minute that these "folks" will vote for anyone who wants to take away their healthcare - regardless of the moral/ethical/common sense reason(s) given?????
Just try running for votes based on the repeal of SocSec, or Medicare, or Medicaide....and now Socialized Medicine.

I am a true believer in the classical small ‘L” liberal and libertarian philosophies. However in the real world the practical situation is going to call for measures to mitigate and dissipate the acute collapse of the foundational columns of ‘Americana’ as it’s been known since the close of WWII.
Steady yourself and find a path through the wreckage, if that means turning off and tuning out, so be it, i will do so.
I am in my 30’s, I will in all probability live the rest of my productive working career in a deflationary stagnated economy with never ending squeeze on wage levels and continuously lowering standards of living for the vast majority of the population. What we can do is prevent the most households as possible from going bankrupt, trying to keep as many boats afloat so as many hands on deck as possible to see us through the storm.

These guys are having a crisis of faith. They are obsessing on the pre-existing condition rule not quite understanding it, but hoping it is a way to cast this bill as a way to destroy insurance companies. After all, where the public option that was going to do this?
They are in a cult. Part of the cult is the odd ideal big business works for their freedom. They really believe that.
We need to make Cornyn as well as the other RINO’s as afraid of being voted out of office as the Democrats are afraid of being voted out of office.
Let us hope 2010 is the anti-incumbent year. If an incumbent has shown any liberalism what-so-ever and whether
Republican or Democrat they are voted out of office.
It’s not a matter of FACT just yet. This country’s not finished because of what 219 idiots did on Sunday. Too many great men and women went before us and paid a high price for America’s freedoms - and succeeding generations need us now to not quit or get discouraged at what these rats are doing.

No, I want her to retire and let Tx RR Commissioner Michael Williams have a crack at the nimrods in DC.
They're not talking about leaving the structure in place; they're talking about taking down very LARGE pieces of it.
This will resonate MUCH better than talking about the entire bill because Democrats will just emphasize the "good" part as Repubs talk about the "bad" parts. There's too much in there to pick apart.
Go for the big things in it (Cornyn's talking about the Medicare cuts which is almost half the bill alone) and FOCUS on those. And take the rest down later after we have Congress.

Then what is the point of having insurance at all? As long as you have had insurance coverage (and I believe this bill still requires you to have that....you can’t just drop it and expect coverage), you should be covered.
Life isn’t fair, but I am supportive of this provision because there are some things that SHOULD BE moral.
Kicking someone off because they get cancer isn’t moral.
It already is illegal for group plans, just not individual.
All this does is extend that to the individual plans as well, which may encourage more people to start small businesses if they aren’t terrified of their insurance dropping them because of things out of their control.
