They're not talking about leaving the structure in place; they're talking about taking down very LARGE pieces of it.
This will resonate MUCH better than talking about the entire bill because Democrats will just emphasize the "good" part as Repubs talk about the "bad" parts. There's too much in there to pick apart.
Go for the big things in it (Cornyn's talking about the Medicare cuts which is almost half the bill alone) and FOCUS on those. And take the rest down later after we have Congress.
This entire monstrosity needs to be gone. The Republicans have ideas about how to fix the things that need fixing. A complete overhaul is not necessary nor desirable. Whatever "good" things that are in it can be incorporated in another, much, much smaller and targeted bill; but, the Frankenstein monster that Dr. Pelosi has created needs to be completely and utterly destroyed.
