While searching on YouTube for the video of the protesters at the Capitol this weekend, I found what I think is the original video.
This is not the 48-second excerpt that I've seen elsewhere. This one is 6:51 in length.
I'll save you the time and effort of watching the entire video: Move the slider out to just less than half-way, and watch the timer at the right.
Listen carefully at 3:31 to 3:34. You may have to turn up the volume a bit.
I'm not sure exactly what is being yelled at that point. But, I think I can hear how it could have been interpreted.
Nope. This is another video that proves nothing bad was said. Chalk up the congressman as a liar.
All I hear is BOOO
Also, listen at 3:51. That one is a bit clearer than the others, but it’s still pretty distorted.
I admit, I’m hard of hearing. I didn’t hear anything I could interpret as anything other than BOOOOOOOOO.
It sounded like they were shouting “traitor”...is that what they are saying was the n-word?
However, if you play it backwards you can clearly hear "Freddy is the devil".
Sheesh.
Bah. Just race-baiters without any proof in a crowd filled with hundreds of video cameras. Just another damned pimping liar. If it had happened, there would have been footage.
I heard a Blah.
Not sure what you heard, but it sounds like “Lay Down” which makes no sense. But I still say they heard the short “I” vowel sound in “Kill the bill” and assumed people were chanting “N*gger” at them. They wanted this to be about that so they can justify their hostile take over of American’s healthcare by calling racism as the reason for the opposition.
The Congresscritter who said someone spit on him - those standing next to the alleged spitter said nothing such happened - and that the cops did not detain anyone. IMO this was just plain ol’ race card playing.
I think they were having an LSD flashback to the 1960s
It's hard to hear individual voices with all the background noise. But, if you "want" to hear it, I think you can.
It's not clear to me what was actually said. But, it's apparently sufficient evidence to convince some people that have listened to it.
I heard nothing and neither did they. They are Democrats therefore they lie. To offer anything but the back of your hand to these fools and miscreants only adds to their credibility.
The tea party is full of lame minded weaklings. Till the “race card” is dealt with there will be no conservative movement worth sending our money.
Apparently so. But, I'm not sure what is actually being said. My high-frequency hearing is terrible, and it makes it very difficult to understand spoken words when there's a lot of background noise.
It sounds as much like "Traitor" as anything else, though.
I say we quit analysing this trivial stuff. This is distracting and that’s exactly what the Dems want. Said or not said, it doesn’t matter one hoot. The leftists want us to believe that because they may have been called a nasty name, we are supposed to concentrate on that and accept the healthcare bill? Mark Fuhrman used the “n” word 10 years prior to O.J. killing two people. Guess what, O.J. was still the murderer of two people and this is still a country/Constitution/way of life murdering bill.
No, it's definitely: "The walrus was Paul..."
Maybe someone yelled “don’t be so niggardly”
Remember when the guy got in trouble for using this term.
