Not sure what you heard, but it sounds like “Lay Down” which makes no sense. But I still say they heard the short “I” vowel sound in “Kill the bill” and assumed people were chanting “N*gger” at them. They wanted this to be about that so they can justify their hostile take over of American’s healthcare by calling racism as the reason for the opposition.

I didn’t hear it but then it’s only black people I hear
using it so am just not used to others saying it.
