In addition the leading conservative candidate, Ed Lynch, has some serious issues, specifically owing over $1 million in back taxes and several judgments.

Seems to me the chances of winning this VERY blue district are slim -- this district looks even bluer than statewide MASS.

Possibly there may be a chance if the composition of the blue voter base is weighted more toward retired FDR/JFK devotees and less toward the younger ethnic base.
