You are not going to turn the tide as long as we have 15% of the population in the entitlement class dedicated to OBAMA regardless of what he does. These same folks are not going top give up their free entitlements and government checks on abstract concepts such as principle and sacred honor. Also consider the fact that 20,000,000 new voters( illegal aliens with new amnesty laws) will be on the roles with free health care by the 2012 election.

Unless you are talking about a real shooting war, forget it! The scum who voted for OBAMACARE and the entitlement class are not going to let anyone vote this away in 2010. They have been waiting for decades to take this country down.

We all better get our minds clear as to what has to be done. Otherwise a lot of innocent Tea Party protesters are going to be gunned down this summer.

All good points. I was thinking about our schools again yesterday, and I was thinking conservatives have to be much more agressive in controlling our schools. We should really have a core agenda we want taught in our schools. We should also look at liberal and conservative school teachers and professors and demand parity in staffing with our public funds.

We ain’t there yet, but that day is coming. I think Comrade Peloski and Premier Hussein smell opportunity now, and there is not telling what else they will attempt to ramrod through between now and the first of the year. Stand by, because much, much more is coming.

America’s spirit and ideals have inspired many courageous, innovative and tyranny-destroying acts. I believe we can do it again. Educate people about what we have, and why it is threatened, and people will come around. Look how many have already!

We are facing a grave threat. But our ancestors faced even worse. See my tagline. If we give up, then we prove ourselves unworthy of their sacrifices. Man up and git ‘er done!

Neither Republicans nor conservatives are united on every issue facing America. Immigration is one example. But we are united on the big government vs. free individual issue, which, more than anything else, has defined America. If we allow any other domestic issue to divide us, we will lose.

This is a very important point. One of the reasons that the GOP lost support last year was that some very vocal people became obsessed with immigration and this was exploited by the Dems to distract the GOP from its central issue, which is keeping government small and preserving the freedom of the individual. I thought it was interesting that those who yelled the loudest and attacked George Bush as though he were the devil incarnate had no suggestions of their own, and to me this indicated that a lot of them were Dem plants, stirring up the gullible to create division and confusion.

It's no accident that the Dems are bringing up immigration again, because they know this is going to distract a certain segment of the GOP and cause such hysteria that the real damage they plan to do - the final extension of government control through the cap and trade bill, which will essentially give the government control over our food supply, travel and living space - won't be noticed until too late.

We must not let ourselves be distracted.

Non-violent civil wars always turn violent.

“Cold” wars always turn “hot.”

We’ve been in a non-violent civil culture war for many decades. Sunday’s vote was a declaration that the central government is DARING freedom lovers to make the “cold” culture war “hot.”

Socialized medicine is an open declaration that “your health, your life, your wealth, is OURS to determine and make use of.”

My impression if Dennis is he is a kind and gentle man, someone you wouldn't mind to have as an Uncle.

For him to couch this in such strong language, given his careful choice of words at all times (he is not a firebrand) is a bigger deal than we preceive at this moment.

FWIW, even the most liberal of Jews know of him and for the most part will respect him and agree to disagree. I suspect within the "Reform" Jewsih community this will get some notice.....

‘Thank God this civil war is non-violent.’

No, it isn't and it does not have to be. Americans need to boycott industries which are subsidized by the gov’t. or which propagate Anti-American views. You know who they are AND none of the ‘things’ they produce are irreplaceable or vital. Keep your dollars in your pocked.

Number two: The legislation, if it is made into law, (even if it isn't) is a howling fraud on the public.

Counter that... I suggest we all go to the bank and ask for our money! Seriously

Anyone who wishes to shred or even stomp the Constitution is an enemy of the state whether they be from the left or right and there are authoritarian opportunists from both sides. The fight for self-government was against authoritarianism which is oriented up and down on the axis, not left or right. The difference is government coersion vs. freedom and self-determination.

[ We got to this point solely because over the past few generations, Americans have forgotten the values that have made America distinctive and great. Even the "Greatest Generation" failed to communicate them. ]

WRONG..... The republicans allowed the teachers Unions to STOP teaching civics and American History to grade and high schools.. To wit; americans don't have a clue of what america is or even USED to be..

Also; not taught is what a democracy, a republic and socialism is.. American do not know communism IS socialism.. as well as Nazism and fascism.. Communism, Nazism an fascist are all socialism..

Progressive schools have eliminated or "hidden" this knowledge from most americans.. And americas colleges are actually re-education camps to enhance this LACK of knowledge... Republicans have allowed america to be DUMBED DOWN.. Yes.. REPUBLICANS.. They did absolutely NOTHING ABOUT THIS for decades..

The younger generation of today (20-30) were brought up by parents who expected the school systems to instill values in their kids and baby-sit them, instead of taking that responsibility on themselves. Without morals and wholesome family upbringings, children will go where they are accepted (gangs) to find worth and self-esteem. And they’ve been submected to the “spare the rod, spoil the child” mentality. The last time I paddled one of my brats (25 years ago) I was accused of child-beating by local authorities. Add to this, that the parents grew up in a society of “Have it your own way”, “Look out for #1”. How many kids do nothing but watch TV and play video games, or are constantly have a cell phone stuck to their ears. In general, people are missing what life is all about. I think “Get a Life” might apply.

I agree it is a battle against the Left. A battle against Marxism. However we must also make that same distinction on the right. Being a Republican does not mean one is on the right. We must not make the same mistake again. The one the right is always making and helped to put us where we are. That is believing that because one is a Republican means they are in support of that which Prager outlined above.

This is not going to be a non-violent civil war. The democrats will not end their vicious and evil attack on America, they will not just go away quietly. So, now is the time to prepare...you have maybe a year or two at most. Work hard to elect Republicans at every level of government...

Plan, organize and conduct non-violent civil disobedience. Close liberal media offices with “sit-ins”, close governmental offices with “sit-ins”. Place freedom based posters up, disrupt democrat meetings, and their campaigns.

We need people who can investigate and expose corrupt democrats and their organizations. Look at what happened to a huge corrupt democrat organization like ACORN from the work of two young Americans. We need more of that...so that means taking risk.

Organize with local patriots for these activities, be careful of communications...a lesson from the founding fathers was to meet under a tree (liberty tree) where they could see if someone was spying on them and they could talk privately among themselves.

Ideas and values are the key to America's greatness. In the last few decades, the pace to remove an understanding of our history and of our governing documents and ideals and replace it with PC and muliticuluralism has been accelerated. This must turn around or all is lost.

The progressives have gotten a toehold and then a beachhead in education and labor which lead to acceptance of FDR's takeover, LBJ's and now the demand for obama.

Labor may be a lost cause. Unions are the heart of the problem, but it may be too late. People know that their union is ok, it's those 'other' unions that are bad.

Education has the same trouble with unions, but at least parents have some say over the curriculum and what goes on in their schools.

They've been planning for decades, setting the pieces on the chess board so as to insure America's collapse and transformation. Americans ignored the warnings b/c the progressives made their takeover a go with the flow, non-threatening mass involvement while they undermined our institutions, history and values. When conservative outrage fades, the progressives move forward.

It's working for them. The brakes are almost gone and, other than Reagan, both parties have signed us up for more, bigger and more involved government and the we are really moving now. Take back the schools and labor and get people to think like Americans again or this second civil war will be lost long before a single shot is fired.
