Netanyahu Reaffirms 'Right To Build' In Jerusalem

Benjamin Netanyahu "Jerusalem is not a settlement; it's our capital"

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has asserted Israel's "right to build" in Jerusalem, amid a row with the US over plans for new homes in the city. "Jerusalem is not a settlement, it's our capital," the Israeli prime minister said in Washington.

But he did not mention controversial plans to build 1,600 new homes in East Jerusalem in his speech. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton earlier urged Israel to make "difficult but necessary choices" for peace. The Palestinian Authority is furious at Israel's insistence on building on occupied territory.

It sees it as a serious stumbling block to the resumption of talks, which have been stalled for more than a year. In his speech to a convention of the influential pro-Israeli group Aipac (American Israel Public Affairs Committee), Mr Netanyahu said building in Jewish neighbourhoods in Jerusalem "in no way precludes the possibility of a two-state solution". He said Israel wanted Palestinians to be "our neighbours, living freely". He also called on Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas to "come and negotiate peace".

Mr Netanyahu added that said while the US could help resolve the problems with the Palestinians, peace could not be imposed from the outside.

Mr.Netanyahu faces the potential of artillery and missile attack from a dozen Muslim nations daily. You think he’s going to be afraid to our funny-eared bozo and the Mrs. who is married to the Mr. Lewinsky?

If you aren’t Christian , it makes no sense.
These days, bad = good in a number of ways, mens hearts are hardening, prophecies foretold for thousands of years are happening before our eyes -The wars, the isolating of israel so she will be alone and surrounded on all sides, the attempt in Israel to rebuild the temple, the earthquakes, weather events, China rising, the rapid decline of the USA ( which doesn’t appear in biblical prophecy anywhere......), one world government type things occuring, PC becoming the one world religion,I could go on.....
This is really happening.
Its not a joke.
Its also, for Christians, not something to be afraid of.
Everyone else should be worried.
Read up. If you haven’t accepted Christ or at least talked to a true Christian friend, nows the time.
There are literally no more events that need to unfold to herald in the last days according to biblical prophecy. We’re all On Gods time now.
Time is short. We don’t know how much we have at any time.
I’m not writing this to be a fear monger. Christ Died for our sins and waits for all that will choose him. When the last person decides to choose against him, the jig is up.

Despite the whining wimps at home, Bibi is an EXPERT in American politics. He knows Obama can do nothing to him, and so he is very calm and unmovable. He also knows economics, having a PhD in it from M.I.T. He knows as long as unemployment is at 10% (and underemployment at a record 20%), that Obama and the Dems are weak and vulnerable, despite healthcare’s passage.

I wholly agree with 100% of what you wrote.

I am a Christian, albeit a poor, flawed one; moreover, I have accepted Jesus as my savior and redeemer, and acknowledge he suffered and died for my sins.

Clinton earlier urged Israel to make "difficult but necessary choices" for peace.

Hate to burst her bubble, but I don't think there will be peace until one side no longer exists.

GREAT idea April!

I’m with you, if we have to have a foreigner in the White House, I nominate Bibi instead of the ‘pretenda from Kenya’.

Well the territory would not be occupied if the so called “Palestinians” would get the heck out.
