By 2010 America will be used to the idea of no pre-condition cancellations, and always having health insurance, heck it sounds good doesnt it.
Just checked the calendar and it is 2010. The stuff you are talking about doesn't kick in until 2013-2014 in most cases. I doubt very much if anyone will be used to something in November that will not actually take place for another three years.
That time period defines the opportunity for repeal. The pain kicks in immediately, and until the benefits kick in it will be much easier to roll it back. But once people start getting the benefits it will be much harder. So big wins in 2010 and 2012 could give a sufficient number of senate votes + president to repeal it before any benefits are paid. Long shot, but not hopeless yet.
