Another Prediction from an "Retired" Freeper
Vanity

Posted on 03/22/2010 12:39:38 PM PDT by Scythian

In my article from Sept 2009 titled Why Government Health Care Will Pass - IT IS A GIVEN. HERE'S WHY (vanity) I predicted it would be rammed down our throats regardless of any campaign ramifications. The reason is they win by passing it, and have now won entirely. Let me go onto to tell you what is now going to happen. They are outplaying you (or rather the republican's it's .. well, frankly, embarrasing)

1) The new health bill can never be, nor ever will it be repealed, it will be the law of the land.
2) All the state lawsuits against it will come to nothing.
3) Within a matter of a few weeks Healthcare will fall off the radar and Amnesty will be front and center, and it too will pass, and they will then have healthcare being legal citizens.
4) There will be 20 to 30 million more very energized voters in the Democratic camp hungry to keep them in power and ensure they maintain thier free health care (paid for by hard working Americans). This will take the pain out of any backlash in the upcoming elections. The Republicans and Tea Partiers will tear each other apart like fools fighting in a burning house, but they can do nothing else, the RNC is on the other team.

Like me playing my 8 year old son in game of chess, the opposition will be picked apart. My son and daughter were playing each other and my son won a few times, he came in bragging he was going to mop the floor with me, he managed to take only a single pawn and he was in checkmate, stunned.

The republicans think the fight is on, however, the democrats are looking 4 to 5 moves down the road, health care won't even be in the news in a month or so, it will be a given that it's the law of the land as the Amnesty debate rages on (allowing the MSM to ingore all opposition and voices to the Health Care bill).

Check and Mate.

- Scythian out. Back into retirement, will repost when this all comes to pass.

PS: Enjoy life, don't fight it, it's done wonders for me to release all this. (I still vote, but I know what is "is" and who won)

No, but the odds are favorable that the populace will learn to love Big Brother.

Doesn’t mean the fight shouldn’t go on. But the thick of battle is not the place for wide-ranging up and down emotions. It’s the place for dogged determination not to die. And as the battle approaches, finding strategists who can think “four or five moves ahead.”

Are there any on the Republican side? Beats me.

I totally agree with your sentiment!

I’m so glad our fore fathers didn’t “give up” as easily as many freepers I see.

I think they have to prove that they are deficit reducers to use reconciliation.

I don't think that's going to fly.

I hope you’re right; but, whoever would have guessed that the US would elect an Indonesian Marxist as President?

I don’t think it will break apart, but I do think the US as we knew it is on its way out. We are already a country accustomed to welfare and government-controlled education. It will only take a generation to become a population mostly addicted to/dependent on government-controlled health care. As you see in Europe, once people get accustomed to sucking that tit, you can’t pry them off. Once the cities are almost completely reliant on public transportation and, of course, the stricter gun-control laws are passed... it’s pretty much over. We might still be referred to as America but there’ll be very few people who psychologically resemble an American the way we mean it.

In my article from Sept 2009 titled Why Government Health Care Will Pass - IT IS A GIVEN. HERE'S WHY (vanity)”

Because the Democrats had a filibuster proof majority in the US senate, and an over 70 seat majority in the House?
What is hard to predict about that?

The reason is they win by passing it, and have now won entirely.”,/i>

Until we repeal it. There are no permanent bills. New congress, new laws.

Let me go onto to tell you what is now going to happen. They are outplaying you (or rather the republican’s it's .. well, frankly, embarrasing)”

They outplayed themselves. If you have a 60 seat majority in the Senate and an overwhelming close to 80 seat majority in the House, you are only fighting amongst yourselves. Why would you even need Republicans to pass any bill?

1) The new health bill can never be, nor ever will it be repealed, it will be the law of the land. “

Yeah..like McCain Feingold could “never be repealed”. And Mccain/Feingold had bipartisan support. 0bamcare has ZERO bipartisan support.

2) All the state lawsuits against it will come to nothing.”

Chortle! Dream on!

3) Within a matter of a few weeks Healthcare will fall off the radar”

Not if we have anything to do with with it. Every Republican campaign stop will start with a rally cry against the Democrats on 0bamacare. Nothing fires up voters against 0bama and the Democrats more than 0bamcare can.

and Amnesty will be front and center,”

That will lose even more votes for the Democrats than they already have. By November, they will be lucky to get elected dog catchers.

and it too will pass,”

They don't have the filibuster proof majority in the US Senate anymore. Sorry.

4) There will be 20 to 30 million more very energized voters in the Democratic camp hungry to keep them in power and ensure they maintain thier free health care”

LOL!
Where were these “highly energized” 0bamcare voters in NJ, VA and MA?

The Republicans and Tea Partiers will tear each other apart like fools fighting in a burning house,”

Naaaah.
Republicans will look on with smug smiles as the Democrats self destruct with bitter recriminations and the blame game, as November gets ever closer, and their poll numbers don't continue to stay in the pits. Nothing beats the amusement value of a fallout amongst thieves and criminals .

Sorry. You little dreamworld just got given a sharp dose of reality.

I think our future is only predictable if we give up. Nobody can say he is wrong, but that don’t make him right either.

I echo the comment made by 101voodoo in your original prediction: “You have confused the “battle” with the “war”

And let’s be honest, your “prediction” wasn’t that big of a longshot. Don’t get too happy.

The Soviet Union would never collapse.

Prohibition cannot be repealed.

The Assault Weapons Ban is permanent.

Now add your claim. _____________________________________

I pray that you are right... I have been screaming for all republicans to walk out of Congress and the Senate until obama ceases his communist march to hell... I do not see the balls or the brains in the republican party to do what must be done. I hope that I am wrong!

One more thing, since I know you're reading the thread - read the tagline.

The British people faced a crisis far more serious than we do today, and yet, through the courage and conviction of one man, they were emboldened, faced down their enemy, and defeated him. We would all do well to emulate Churchill in these dark days.
