Forgive me if this is redundant; but, now is not the time to stop praying.

It's a political IED for any of the RATS in vulnerable districts. There must be RATS shi++ing bricks with word of this getting out.

Can you explain it for me? I need a “Recommit for Dummies”.
To: katieanna
Good, this should be fun. I am not expecting a lot from it but it will at least be entertaining for a while.....well.....not as much as the jim beam shots and cigars I am going through, but still, a fun game nevertheless.

Is this just a futile gesture or should I invest my last remaining milligram of emotion in following this story?

If they cared, they would vote against it.
They don't care.

I don’t understand it well, but I’ve heard that a bunch of Dims are staining their drawers because of this particular Motion to Recommit.
Someone please correct me, but I think it means that there are a significant number of Dims who will want to vote for the Motion, which, if it passes, will cause the bill to die.

I didn’t ask him that. I just asked for assurance that they’d do it. He said, it will be introduced. I asked him if the Stupak language would be in it; and, he suspected it would contain ‘some’. How much he did not know. I urge everyone to call. He said the leader appreciates the support.

What does a Motion to Recommit mean?
To: katieanna
The goal will be to get language that would appeal to enough Dems so that 216 votes on the motion could be secured.

It most likely will not sink the bill becuase the pro-death Stupaks will not change their votes...but the motion will force them ON RECORD CLEARLY AND UNDENIABLY as having voted FOR Federal funding of abortion and this move will very likely SINK their bids for re-election in Nov.

AM: Should this be placed in Breaking? Seems like it should.
