Abbott knows that without the backing of a friendly Congress, there’s no point. He can’t get cooperation from Hawaii and suing them for the evidence without that will result in years of legal wrangling and stonewalling with no end in sight and at a high monetary cost - which could better be used elsewhere... such as shooting down Obamacare.
AG Abbott has nothing to do with Congress. He is the chief law enforcement officer in the state; it is his job to prosecute election fraud. Sending a letter to Boyd Richie asking on what documentary basis he - Mr. Richie - ascertained BO is a NBC before swearing he was, to state election officials, costs the price of the stamp and the time it takes to write the letter.
