Fox news Producer Chad Pergram was just on the phone with anchor Megyn Kelly excitedly telling the story of Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi walking arm and arm with Rep. John Lewis though a throng of thousands of Tea Party protesters on Capitol Hill who were chanting "kill the bill."
Pergram compared the scene to civil rights era marches with Pelosi and Lewis as the good guys and the Tea Party protesters as the bad guys.
Lewis and other members of the Congressional Black Caucus have made unsubstantiated charges that they were called n***** by protesters yesterday while walking between the Capitol and Congressional offices.
Pergram said Pelosi and Lewis were accompanied by several other Democrats and that she was carrying a large ceremonial gavel.
Today marks the 45th anniversary of a civil rights march in Selma, Alabama that Lewis participated in.
I told some people yesterday here that something doesn’t smell right about Fox News the last few days, and I was told I was wrong
I just threw up a little in my mouth...
Just heard it. Nancy’s “in your face” with her giant gavel.
This has nothing to do with “civil rights”, no matter how much they would like to think it does.
YOU are so right.
Time for FOX to go the way of the rest of the msm. TURN it OFF.
So utterly Sicilian ~ so Mafiaesque ~ so typical of criminals.
This is what you get when you elect a mobster's daughter to public office.
I hear that they have been coming down on Beck a lot. (Don’t know if it’s true, but that’s what I heard.)
The bolshies and their Orwellian media have gone bat-@#$^ insane. This situation is not going to end well at all.
Fox just declared Stupak was still a no . . .
When a major shareholder is a foreign Muslim Prince who is a Wahabbi Muslim, it can’t be good.
The video is proof that slurs were never said by the Patriots.
Lies, more da*&ed lies.
Very disappointed how Fox has been handling this report.
Have we really lost Fox News? Sounds like it. I plan to watch closely for awhile and make up my own mind.
Murdoch took all free streams of FOX off the internet ... THAT was the clue to me that FOX no longer was a viable balanced outlet
Outsmarted by the liberals again and again.
Any protests against Pelosi being a tool of insurance companies?
That would have hurt.
What are the odds on the bill passing? I say if it does, 100% certain that the Republicans defend this insurance company bill to the bitter end, say, starting about 2 weeks from now.
At least they are beginning to admit what this whole thing is really about and it’s more than 40 acres and a mule.
I don’t mind saying I’m very disappointed in Fox’s coverage of this vote. Their vote count appears to come across as a firm vote the way they are presenting on screen.
They appear to be fully behind the (D)s on this issue.
Their “Fair and Balanced” mantra seems to have vanished on this issue.
Disappointing.
Just heard it. Nancys in your face with her giant gavel.
There are several unsavory things I could suggest she do with her Giant Gavel, but I am a Lady!
I’ve been thinking that way, and O’Reilly was the tip-off some years back.
