I hold out hope and Stupak tells CNN he is still a no. (That said I'm not hearing from people in the know who are too optimistic at the moment.)

The outcome of any vote by Congress on health care is irrelevant since Article 1 Section 8 of the Constitution does not specifically grant Congress the power to regulate health care! Therefore the so called legislation on its face is Unconstitutional! The people are not bound to comply with an Unconstitutional act of Congress! This is a power regulated to the states per the 10th Amendment!

It is the reason why Idaho and Virginia have passed legislation blocking federal health care from being illegally imposed on the citizens of those states by reasserting their 10th Amendment rights and 34 other states considering similar legislation! This is the point people need to hammer home with their Congress critters!

Democrats ALWAYS sell out in the end. Too bad for our country. Of course the Democrats will be absolutely slaughtered in November, but until we can get Obama out in 2012, we are stuck with this thing.

The democrats have no morals at all. They just hold out for a deal. And these deals are with OUR money.

Stupik will flip-flop as long as it keeps him on television.

When this is over the media will drop him like a hot potato and you’ll never hear from him again.

Idaho’s law is an easily-overturned waste of time.

Virginia however, has a chance to succeed.

Congress has passed laws and the federal government has enforced many laws that regulate areas not granted to the federal government by the Constitution. They simply invoke the “commerce clause” and “general welfare” as justification for everything

Regardless of how any individual votes on this issue, anyone who votes for a democrat for congress is voting for Nancy Pelosi. Anyone who votes for a democrat for senate is voting for Harry Reid.

The confusion tells us something; I think it’s pretty clear here that nobody knows what is going on and that they obviously do NOT have a lock on 216 votes. Not that there’s hope, but this is a mess. If he were going to vote yes, this would help sway everyone else. It’s a ruse. Not that there’s hope. But obviously they do not know what’s going on.

This guy Stupak is the Brett Favre of the House. He’s in, he’s out, he’s doing the hokey-pokey and he’s shaking it all about.

It’s obvious that anyone who really cared about the abortion issue wouldn’t be fooled by this EO fig leaf.

My only hope is he’s playing it close to the vest. He won’t explicitly say no because he doesn’t want all the pressure. So he tells them. “Yeah, sure, sounds good”. Then at the moment of truth he and his group vote no and run as fast as they can.

I mean, DeGette and the hard core pro-abortion votes all signed off on this and aren’t raisin any objections. What does that tell you? They’d never agree to anything if it was meaningful in any way.

Obama himself was endorsed by all the pro abortion groups and explicitly campaigned at Planned Parenthood promising to sign the FOCA. Does anyone think he’d really do anything meaningful against abortion?

This is all one big farce and on some Friday night when no one is paying attention he’ll revoke the order. Just like he said he couldn’t disown Wright and a few months later he was cut loose. Just like he said Iran had until Sept, then Oct, then Dec 31 and now it’s Mar 21 and nothing has happened. Just like he attacked Hillary in OH over the mandates in her plan and then went on to make mandates the centerpiece of his plan. Just like he said he would take public financing then broke his promise once he saw how much money was coming in. I could go on. This EO is worth nothing, and everyone knows it.

If they pass amnesty for illegals before the november elections...dems won’t have a thing to worry about. 20 million new democrat voters instantly created.
