Charter Buses to help transport thousands from state to

Tea Party Express III kickoff event

 

SACRAMENTO, CA - Momentum is growing within California for the “Tea Party Express III: Just Vote Them Out” mega-tea party rally this Saturday, March 27^th in Searchlight, NV. Groups from all over California are chartering buses to the “Showdown in Searchlight” event in Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid’s hometown.

 

“Opposition to the federal health care takeover reaches across the country,” said Bryan Shroyer, Political Director of the Tea Party Express, “and the number of Californians flocking to Searchlight next week is just the most recent example.”

 

Buses will pick up California supporters throughout the state. Departure cities include San Diego, Orange County, Los Angeles, Riverside, San Bernardino, the High Desert, Sacramento, Bakersfield, Modesto, Fresno, and the San Francisco Bay area.

 

While the buses are rapidly filling up, there are still some seats available to those who act quickly.

 

The Tea Party Express caravan, which features two 45-foot coaches along with several support vehicles, will kickoff with the massive “Showdown in Searchlight,” featuring conservative speakers such as Governor Sarah Palin, Joe The Plumber, Andrew Breitbart, Roger Hedgecock, Saturday Night Live's Victoria Jackson, and many more.

 

From Nevada, the Express will travel from coast-to-coast on a mission to unify, educate, and encourage conservative Americans to continue their opposition of deficit spending, government-run healthcare, and irresponsible bailouts.  The tour will culminate with a climactic rally in Washington D.C. on April 15^th.

BRING YOUR RV/MOTORHOME TO SEARCHLIGHT!

 And for those of you who have an RV, motorhome or trailer, this is the perfect way to come to Searchlight, NV.  Make it a fun weekend with a visit to Las Vegas, some great buffets and a discounted show deal.

Campgrounds have been filling up throughout the area surrounding Searchlight.  There are only a couple spaces left - though some campgrounds will allow dry camping.  There are also thousands of open spaces still available surrounding the greater Las Vegas metropolitan area.

The extended outlook for late next week for Las Vegas calls for sunny skies with highs in the mid-70s.  This is going to be an incredible weekend, folks.  What a wonderful time to celebrate America, and fight back against the crooked, corrupt, Big Government politicians who are hurting our nation.

 

PATRIOTIC CARPOOL : Laughlin to Searchlight to Henderson

 

If you are driving out for this incredible day, then be sure to bring some American flags and red-white-blue decorations for your vehicles... here's why:

 

The plan is to have supporters meet up with our tour delegation of Tea Party Express buses and support vehicles in the parking lot of Harrah’s Laughlin.  At around 10:15 - 10:30 AM the buses will pull out leading the caravan of vehicles from Laughlin to Searchlight. 

 

Everyone is encouraged to come to Harrah's Laughlin and join the caravan  Folks who want to join this effort should arrive at the Harrah’s Laughlin parking lot between 9:30-10:00 AM.

 

We then will caravan together northward towards Searchlight and hold the big mega-rally. 

 

When we’ve completed the "Showdown in Searchlight" rally we will have the Tea Party Express buses then lead an even bigger caravan of all these vehicles to the Henderson Pavillion for the 5:00 PM rally there.

 

So… the rundown:

 

9:30-10:00 AM – Supporters arrive at Harrah’s Laughlin parking lot.  Then everyone caravans up to Searchlight sometime around 10:30 AM.

10:30 AM – Caravan departs Laughlin in its northward trip to Searchlight.

12:00 Noon – Tea Party Express’s “Showdown in Searchlight” Mega Rally.

4:00 PM – Grassroots Nevada event with Ann Coulter at Henderson Pavillion

5:00 PM – Tea Party Express rally at Henderson Pavillion

The day will be one complete day of pride and patriotism for our tea party movement and the constitutional republic we are fighting to preserve.

There are a couple of places to eat. The classic Searchlight Nugget is still there, of course, and a few years back, they built a new Chevron station (with a McDonalds) at the south end of town.

The little city park keeps the bathrooms open too. I imagine they'll be well used!

But I'm bringing an ice chest of munchies just in case...

I think Searchlight will be the third largest city in Nevada for a day! Much like the "Arctic man" is back home at Summit Lake, except a much more serious mission on this one.

Always a good plan. If you get there arealy, try the Chile Size - I used to drive from the base (Nellis) down there once a month or so just to get one. MMM mmm good.

THe WX man sez temps will be high 60s, low 70s and clear/sunny.
