From the article it does appear that Public restrooms are either closed overnight - or- have been eliminated permanently.

Bearing in mind that a high percentage of Brits use public transportation or walk to & from the local pubs - they cannot tinkle in the car - or in the hedge on the way home.

This reminds me of a story a co-worker told me. Her boy friend was arrested, yes arrested, for public urination. He ducked into a stand of trees to relieve himself and was suddenly surrounded by a dozen cops.

I suspect that the police had set up a drug or prostitution stake out and were mad at the guy for blowing their cover.

The scheme will only target male drinkers and there are no plans to create a woman's version of the toilet.

Until the feminists screech *discrimination* and demand that they be provided for women as well.

And when the design and implementation of said portable female urinals is not feasible, they'll be forced to remove the ones for the men and they'll be back to urinating in the streets.

Leave it to the feminists to turn back progress in the name of equality.
