Interesting that the poster, GOP_Lady, removed the
lines incriminating Romney.

"Romney played a significant factor in the debate over the health care bill,
due to his actions as governor to implement a similar measure in his state.
Some pundits have pointed out the similarities between the Obama bill and the Romney health care initiative.
Some have also pointed out that mandates required by both bills inevitably result in runaway costs,
followed by price controls and bureaucratic rationing."

Romney is solely responsible for RomneyCARE, partially for ObamaCARE,
and solely for the BIG-DIG coverup, and
for his imposition without a vote of gay marriage
which he achieved by improper executive "authority" with threat of firing.

Sneaky Mitt RomneyCARE (D, Carpetbagger):
You FReepers are not as smart as me.
Proudly, I Was For The Obama Bailout ....
Before I Was Against It

“Romney praises Obama
WASHINGTON (CNN) -- Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney praised President Obama
at a GOP fundraising dinner Wednesday ..
"I also think it's important for us to nod to the president when he's right," Romney said....
Romney, who spoke at a dinner for the National Republican Senatorial Committee,
said he's pleased with the president's plans to "finish the job" in Iraq and Afghanistan
-- lines that drew applause from the partisan audience. He also applauded the president
for standing up to the auto industry.
"I hope he continues to be tough ....The former businessman even offered faint praise for
Treasury Secretary Tim Geithner, saying that after a series of initial missteps,
"I think he's finally getting close to the right answer."

Thanks for all that info. MEVER FORGET, Mitt Romney is as responsible for this HC as are the Dems.

NEVER FORGET: Mitt Romney is an opportunist, nothing more, as panderer and liar.

I think he thinks his good looks is all it will take, I got news for him, he is as ugly to the bone as Pelosi and you can't cure ugly.

...just that for the cause, if he were out repudiating Romneycare, that might help a bit.

He's a politician. As such, there's no way he can repudiate his past. Politicians are for themselves first, and that means altruism isn't part of his makeup.

Causes make soundbites afor current events. That's the extent of their usefulness to a politician such as Romney.

Any person who can stop this country from going bankrupt via socialized healthcare gets my support. That includes RINO’s.

It is more important to save future of younger generation than my personal preferences.

Attention Petulant Romney haters. Romneycare never passed. The dems filled his proposed bill with so much pork, he vetoed the bill due to the excessive costs. The dem legislators overruled him.

You are right. Romney bankrupted Masschusetts --- and had to flee.

MITT ROMNEY - THE PROVEN BAD GOVERNOR

"As U.S. real output grew 13 percent between 2002 and 2006, Massachusetts trailed at 9 percent.
* Manufacturing employment fell 7 percent nationwide those years, but sank 14 percent under Romney, placing Massachusetts 48th among the states.
* Between fall 2003 and autumn 2006, U.S. job growth averaged 5.4 percent, nearly three times Massachusetts' anemic 1.9 percent pace.
* While 8 million Americans over age 16 found work between 2002 and 2006, the number of employed Massachusetts residents actually declined by 8,500 during those years.
"Massachusetts was the only state to have failed to post any gain in its pool of employed residents," professors Sum and McLaughlin concluded.
In an April 2003 meeting with the Massachusetts congressional delegation in Washington, Romney failed to endorse President Bush's $726 billion tax-cut proposal."

I agree. The Romney thing here gets a little much.

Let’s use Romney to help us however he can. He can be our Bart Stupak. Some of his ideas may be at odds with what the rank and file believe. But in the end, Stupak was useful to get health care done. We can use Romney the same way.

Now, Romney has merely said what I outlined a week ago.

Winning the House in November 2010 is sufficient to put a stop to funding AND taxes, by simply declining to vote for that. We are back to status quo ante. The people who were “depending on it” never saw it; they never even got taxed. (If withholding raised in 2010, they’ll get refunds.)

Winning the Senate and Presidency in November 2012 will at the least allow the plan to continue to be starved. If a filibuster can be broken, then the plan can be killed.

It is never my fault. They made me do it.
Blame the citizens (who did not vote). Blame the Maucks.
Just buy my book. Lie for me. Promise anything.
Ignore what we did during Election2008. Change the subject.
Then go home and play with you (sic) banana.”

I can see it now. Romney leads the charge to defeat Obamao care, and he gives us Mittcare instead. Americans are left screwed, wondering how six of one is any different than half a dozen of the other.

I’ll believe it when I see it. I have neither faith nor trust in Romney.

I live in Massachusetts.
