You’d have to ask a doctor to find out how this happens, but what I mentioned is a boiler plate warning I’ve seen on the patient information sheet that comes with prednisone and prednisolone. If they cause trouble, it doesn’t necessarily show up immediately.

One thing I discovered - I'm a Type II diabetic, and when I'm on Prednisone, I am evil personified. It screws with my glucose level so bad, my family just stays out of the same room with me. My sugar will yo-yo up and down to extremes that makes my fuse non-existent. Lorazepam just barely takes the edge off. It's like being possessed by Satan, and nothing will change it until the steroids have run their course and are out of my system.
