If it’s disappeared from your dictionary, why are you referencing it?
On the theory that you’re being rhetorical/sarcastic, I ask you again:
There was a time in this country it was THE LAW that escaped slaves had to be returned to their ‘owners’.
Would you have advocated obedience to that law?
We are all being turned into slaves.
