My mom is 82. She depends on "Tricare for Life". Dad died in Dec 2003. I think FReeper LucyT is in a similar situation.

My parents, via my father, have Tricare for life being he served 30 years and did 2 tours in Vietnam. The frak with his or their Tricare, he will go apes**t.

My father served in WWII and then did 20 years in the Army reserves. Because of TCFL, my mother’s cancer treatment when she was 82 was completely paid for. Unfortunately, she passed away, but at least had a couple of more months thanks to the formerly greatest healthcare system in the world, especially here in Houston.
