“This weekend’s votes will be among the most consequential votes we will ever cast as Members of Congress...”

Sorry. The roll call to pass Roe v. Wade was MUCH more destructive to the fabric of our society than this stuff...which will be tied up in our courts for decades to come!

Just think. We could have the male version of Sarah Palin in the White House RIGHT THIS VERY MINUTE if Congress hadn’t doomed 50 million babies to destruction.

How soon we forget! Let’s keep thing in perspective. There’s no WAY that THIS is the most important thing that Congress has ever passed or defeated. And it’ll be heading to the Supreme Court eventually...

Marbery vs. Madison?

Dred Scott v. Sandford?

Brown v. Board of Education?

Mapp v. Ohio? (Search Warrants)

Congress thinks they matter. Fools.

We The People matter! However, our representatives have been asleep at the wheel for WAY too long!

It’s great that you’re pro-life but if you think Congress passed Roe v. Wade, you need to study history more. Hint: the “v.” in Roe v. Wade is Latin word “versus” meaning “against”, and means a LAWSUIT of an anonymous woman “Jane Roe” against Wade, the Attorney general of Texas at the time. That is, it was a COURT CASE, which the SUPREME COURT decided. It was not a law ever voted on by Congress or anyone.

“Roe v. Wade” was never a roll call vote or any congressional statute, b/c it refers to a court case..... in fact totally “UN” democratic (small ‘d’) since a few SCOTUS justices could decide to suddenly “discover” a constitutional “right” that not only had never existed before, but which had almost never even been suggested in nearly two centuries since no reasonable person could pretend to find it in the US Constitution with its amendments.
