Well, Obama used to say this would settle things, but he’s already promising the liberals that he’ll take up their pet peeves in a bill after they pass this one. So again he lied to us to get elected.

Express disdain and outrage, then stand out of the way.

I hate to break it to Mr. Hatch, but they only need to vote once. Senate bill passes.. goes to president. It’s the law.

It’s unconstitutional to pass law from the congressional houses about “the same bill” when the language is not exactly the same for both.

It will not be law, according to the Constitution.

Obama is playing the Dem house members for suckers. Hatch is warning them they will screw up the side car. Any idiot that changes his vote on faith of changes in the “reconciliation” is a going to look like a fool to his constituents. The budget busting bill left out the Doc Fix !! Add in another 300 BILLION!!

They are passing the senate bill not the reconciliation. If they get 216 that passes the senate bill and pres signs. The other bill goes to senate for harry and 51 dems to pass that next. Read on Huffington that Reid promises Public Option. Where am I wrong?

We are going to have to wait until Sunday to see how this crap plays out. If the House votes into law the Senate bill straight up, Obama will sign that bill into law pronto. The Senate won’t have to vote on any reconciliation House bill.

Some do, but a substantial fraction of them are dumb as a bag of marbles, and are voting what leadership tells them. Others (some smart, some stupid) would shred the Constitution if they had an opportunity. All of them are voting their own pocketbook.

I'm reminded of the Bible story of Lot, and his plea to spare Sodom and Gomorrah. Couldn't find ten righteous people in the whole city.

Keep the vote open until you can win a majority of the quorum. Take a little finagling and playing the angles, but it can be done. Just send goons to keep the “No” votes imprisoned and incommunicado, call the vote, and declare the measure “passed”.

Then stand back for the mob with pitchforks and torches to show up.

There is a point, when a pot of water is heated to near the boiling point, where the first bubble of superheated water vapor makes it to the surface of the water. Once the surface tension is broken, the water goes swiftly to a rolling boil, and the escaping steam is much more lively. Simple physics, really. People in mobs behave very much like that water that is about to allow the first bubble to escape.

Well what have YOU tried to do to stop it, Orrin?? Haven’t seen you spreading the word on FOX, calling to speak on Rush, appearing on TV ANYWHERE to expose this fraud for what it is. Maybe you’re just too accustomed to selling out the American public.
