KUHNER: Impeach the president?

...The Slaughter Solution is a poisoned chalice. By drinking from it, the Democrats would not only commit political suicide. They would guarantee that any bill signed by Mr. Obama is illegitimate, illegal and blatantly unconstitutional. It would be worse than a strategic blunder; it would be a crime - a moral crime against the American people and a direct abrogation of the Constitution and our very democracy.
It would open Mr. Obama, as well as key congressional leaders such as Mrs. Pelosi, to impeachment. The Slaughter Solution would replace the rule of law with arbitrary one-party rule. It violates the entire basis of our constitutional government - meeting the threshold of "high crimes and misdemeanors." If it's enacted, Republicans should campaign for the November elections not only on repealing Obamacare, but on removing Mr. Obama and his gang of leftist thugs from office.
It is time Americans drew a line in the sand. Mr. Obama crosses it at his peril.

Congress draws up and votes for Articles of Impeachment. If passed, it is just like an indictment. The Senate then votes on removal. I believe it takes 2/3rds of the Senate for removal.

I’m sure they could ‘deem’ that a no deal.

Can you impeach someone that isn’t actually the legitimate President?
This reminds me of that Seinfeld episode where George gets fired from a job he’s been pretending to have and on his way out the door he says “I don’t even really work here”

"Who thought we would be taken so easy, so fast, chip by chip and have such willing victims? "
I'll just say it: had this been a white president he would have been run out on a rail long ago...political correctness is bringing America down.
Chicago thuggery and unionthink is making a molehill out of America.
I don't know about anyone else, but I am way more afraid to live under the slavery of communism/socialism than I am to fight it out. Our forefathers and the Constitution gives us the means to maintain a free America...but, they can't hop in a time machine and come and fight it for us...it's up to us. Obama and his minions are not going to stop...they will have to be stopped.
To answer the other question, No, nothing can be done illegally. Why? Because obama now decides what is legal and what it not legal. He is chavez, in color.
I never thought I'd see America fall to a skinny black guy who uses lies like a flaming sword to scare all the cowards that voted for him into fighting for him.

Some may already chimed in, but:
The House of Representatives vote articles (charges) of impeachement with a simple majority vote. Select group from the House congressmen are like the trial lawyers.
The Senate is the jury presided over by the Chief Justice of the United States John Roberts.
The Senate hears the arguments and votes to convict or clear.

I disagree. It's a horrible mangling of the intended constitutional process for enacting legislation, yes, but I would not call this "deem and pass" BS "government by decree." It's not as though there's no vote at all (when the House votes on the reconciliation bill, because of this rule, everyone knows that they're also voting on the Senate bill, and this "deem and pass" BS does not allow the Senate bill to be "deemed" to have passed if the reconciliation bill fails). It's a violation of Art I, Sec. 7, sure. It's impeachable, most likely. But, I wouldn't go so far as to call it "government by decree"

In case you hadn’t thought of this before
Fishing Ban = Government control of the food supply
Look at some of the other stuff they’ve tried to sneak through lately, including the restrictions on “organic farming” that would subject your backyard garden to federal regulation.

Looks like nothing but speculation at this point - the commission could, at some point in the future, recommend regulations that would prohibit (or significantly limit) fishing in many areas, but it has not yet done so. Let's criticize Obama for what he's done and what he's doing right now, not for what he may do at some unspecified point in future....
To: Conscience of a Conservative
It didn’t happen, ie, it was “just speculation”,
because enough people protested it before it became reality.

But where was there any indication (aside from mere speculation) that the ban was ever going to happen?
To: Conscience of a Conservative
Do a Google on fishing ban, it’s at the top of the list.

Doesn’t mean they will not do it. They will try . They have to have control of things that lead to other things. They knew people wouldn’t go for this so now they’ll do it amendment by amendment in the dark of night behind closed doors.
Remember no smoking? That was the first on how do we control so many people...bit by bit. If they can control us that easy... bringing socialism will be a walk in the park.

I ran a Google news search for fishing ban, and most of the stories (aside from some stories about a rejected bluefin tuna ban, which is unrelated to this sport fishing ban) were along the lines of “Fishing Ban story fake.”
