After hearings that discussed drug and supplement abuse by athletes, Nanny Stater Juan decided the entire supplement industry needed to be regulated, which would affect every man, woman and child in the US who uses any sort of food supplements.

McCain will never retire on his own. He will have to be voted out. He is one of those old timers, like Byrd, Kennedy, Thurmond, et al.

He will be there until they carry him out on a stretcher, unless the voters finally get enough. The trouble with that is McCain now thinks that AZ Senate seat is his forever, just like the politicos in MA thought that seat belonged to the Kennedys. If the voters reelect him, he will be right. And that seat will next go to his daughter.
