If Congress passes the Senate health-care plan, according to an analysis by the Congressional Budget Office, American families will be required by federal law to buy a federally approved health insurance plan that will cost a minimum of $12,000 per year--and, on average, will cost $15,000 per year -- whether their employer or the government helps them with the premium or not.
Beginning in 2014, the Senate plan would require all individuals to buy health insurance. Anyone who does not obtain insurance through an employer would be forced to buy it out of their own pocket. Families of four that make up to 400 percent of poverty level--currently $88,200 per year--would receive a subsidy from the government to help pay for their premiums. That subsidy would attenuate as their income increased and would disappear when their income reached the 400 percent of poverty level.
Families earning more than $88,200 a year (or whatever 400 percent of the poverty level equals in any given year) would be entirely on their own. Under the Senate bill, employers would not be required to purchase health insurance for their workers, and if they decided not to do so, the maximum penalty they would have to pay would be $750 per year for each worker they did not insure who subsequently received a federal subsidy to buy insurance. The $750 penalty on employers who decided not to insure their workers would be far less than they would pay in premiums for the $12,000 minimum required plan.

Unions get at least silver, or possibly gold Cadillac care.
And BO, congress, et al pay nothing (do they??) and get Platinum Lexus immediate 100% covered health care on demand with the finest doctors available. No bureaucrat approval needed.

Every bit of information helps. Something that graphic really helps. As far as dates go, the more force we push with the greater the chance they will delay the vote. They won’t call for a vote if they don’t have the votes to win.
What day that will happen, I don’t know. I do know this bill was supposed to be a done deal nearly a year ago. It’s still here. So don’t give up.

Of course many of us here know that, but most of the population does not know that and even if they heard of it, they would just chalk it up to conspiracy thinking. But they won’t ignore the numbers. When they see the effect of this bill on their wallets, Cloward-Piven, Alinsky, Marx, Lenin, Stalin, Mao, Che, Fidel and Chavez combined won’t be able to help the democrats, including 0bama.
I know a lot of hardworking people around here who don’t make $12000.00 a year! This will force them to accept welfare they don’t want! I guess the idea is to destroy dignity and pride!

If you can’t go to DC, then go to their local offices, or hold street corner rallies in front of a nursing home, or SS office. Be sure to put your signs on sticks you can then rest on, hands will cramp. Take photos, call media, talk radio, program them into your phones. Take a supply of magic markers, and a bull horn if you have access to one. Hit the Medicare cut & gut theme..nothing like mad grannies and gramps. VA Cuts, taxes on special needs kids...35 new taxes.

At the first number below you must wait through a tape recording urging you to tell your Rep or Senator to vote “yes” for the health care bill. Just hang on and when the recording is over, you will get the Capitol operator. Just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Then you will either talk to an aid or have the chance to leave a message for him/her to vote NO on the health care bill.
When you use the second number and the Capitol operator comes on, just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Every time I use this number I get the Rep or Senator’s answer machine, so it may be set up that way all the time...to go to their answer machine. Either way you can leave a message to vote NO on the health care bill!
