(CNSNews.com) If Congress passes the Senate health-care plan, according to an analysis by the Congressional Budget Office, American families will be required by federal law to buy a federally approved health insurance plan that will cost a minimum of $12,000 per year--and, on average, will cost $15,000 per year -- whether their employer or the government helps them with the premium or not.
Beginning in 2014, the Senate plan would require all individuals to buy health insurance. Anyone who does not obtain insurance through an employer would be forced to buy it out of their own pocket. Families of four that make up to 400 percent of poverty level--currently $88,200 per year--would receive a subsidy from the government to help pay for their premiums. That subsidy would attenuate as their income increased and would disappear when their income reached the 400 percent of poverty level.

Of course ~ investment income is different ~ and static liquid assets are also different.
The Constitution says the Congress can levy taxes on INCOME but not on property.
The point of this ruinous taxation and deprivation of right to forego insurance is to PREVENT any middle class person from rising economically to a point where he could challenge the hereditary wealthy classes of what they view as their "rightful place".
They teach you that when you find yourself on the way to a POW camp, this is the healthiest you'll be so ACT NOW TO ESCAPE.
Obviously it is time to ACT.

Okay. We are going to be forced to buy health insurance from companies who cannot refuse anyone for anything. There will be a new government bureaucracy to police this thing. There will be a plethora of new taxes to fill in the gaps in spending. We will have to pay for all of the side deals that were made to get this abomination passed. We will have to cover, what, 30 million more people who don't currently have coverage, and eventually 25 million more illegal aliens who will receive amnesty. We will have to pay five years of “health care” while we also have to pay for five years of health care. Maybe I am stupid (I always hold that out as a possibility), but how, exactly is all of this supposed to make health care more “affordable”?

Im curious about how they expect these families who only make $1000 a month to pay $1000 a month in Goobermint extortion. Obviously they can't. It will force tens of millions of people to become, essentially, welfare recipients, and presumably, lifetime Democrat voters. This bill is only about political power. It has nothing to do with health care.

Let me see if I got this right...in a year or so, SOMEBODY is going to figure out a way to refuse to let the IRS take their money and force them to pay for health care.
So, do the US Marshall’s come to your house and arrest you? Will the US govt then file charges against a US citizen for not having INSURANCE???
What will the media reports look like for that? “Bob Smith, Arrested for No Insurance” Jailed at Ft Leavenworth?
Can this be any more absurd?

$12,000 a year means that either my husband or I will have to get another job in addition to my factory job and his farming.
We don’t have that kind of money floating around ... does anyone? Really?

They can't, therefore they will be forced in the fed. program, which is medicaid. With a reported 40% of doctors quitting, there will be none to take medicaid. Not only that, but hubby works at a hospital, and nationwide the word has gone out to hospitals, either cut cost or close. His has already said they may have to close. More lost jobs, and less medical care. These people are all pure evil, they know exactly what they are causing and what they want the ultimate end to be.

Tell me how income of 88k translates to 1mil in liquid assets because that’s where iam and to me that is laughable. Btw I don’t support this. I pay for my own health insurance and find it disturbing what these commies are doing.

There are people in my family from the “next” generation who are for this because “It’s better than nothing and the republicans never tried to do anything.” Or they say “Let’s wait and see how it works out.” I’m tempted to pray that this thing passes so they’ll live in poverty and their kids will drink powdered milk and eat powered eggs. I’ll be dead before it gets too bad.

I really think the whole purpose of this is to destroy this nation. There can be no other reason. I have a cousin who supports O but hates this bill. Even he can’t explain why they want it to pass so bad.
But you just pointed out that there’s no way this is going to work. It can’t be enforced. People will die of common colds due to lack of health care. Even if they have insurance there will be no providers.
