I also have a daughter who is a die hard liberal professor. She lives a long way from here, thank God. If I see her once a year, it’s too much. She is my child and I love her, but I cannot abide what she has become. It so angers me that a child of mine would be complicit in destroying free America.

The result is that no matter how nice in person a liberal is, when you look at them, always remember they want you in chains.
Sorry but liberals don't have a place in our society and tolerating them is the reason we are in such a fix now. Believe what you want, but as soon as Bozo was elected, I dumped the friends I had that voted for him, one of them was supposedly a life long conservative. She is now asking to be taken back in as a friend and is sorry for having voted for him. I told her that I would think about it but couldn't promise her anything. I have known this particular woman for most of my fairly long life.
I have no sympathy for people who believe I should work and support the rest of the nation and give up my freedom while doing so.
Who do you think votes for the liberals who ARE in office?

I’ve been more aggressive this week than ever before with posting proof and speaking my mind. If they don’t like it they can just get out. I have no more patience or time for the idiots. I’m probably more angry at the ones who don’t pay any attention and let this crap happen. I haven’t looked to see if I’ve been un-friended by anyone but I couldn’t care less any longer.
You can love them at a distance. Unless you think being around their deception makes you a better person. YOU don’t change them, The Word does. If ‘We are not a Christian nation’ didn’t alarm them - you think you will? They align themselves w/abortion, that’s their choice. If you hate evil, it’s easy to let go.
Well, friends and family are one thing. My beloved grandma was a Roosevelt Democrat and would certainly be for Obama if she were alive, but no way in the world could I disown her.
On the other hand, I would have no problem with businessmen blackballing employees or suppliers or even clients who support socialism.
I can’t go all the way with you there, although I do hear you.
What I’ve done, and it’s been a big step for me, is come out of the closet as a conservative.
Since most of my associates are liberals, I used to just keep quiet and try to steer the conversation away from politics.
From my church (Episcopalian) to my writers groups, to other lifelong friends, even to family members, it seems 80% or more are liberal.
Now, I don’t, can’t, won’t and don’t want to eliminate these people as friends, I don’t back down from my positions or tolerate theirs without speaking any more.
That’s the problem in some cases. Someone close is liberal but when you try to convince them to just disagree and talk of other things, they won’t. This is a liberal thing.
I had a 30 year friend who would call me up and talk for an hour. We had a lot in common, but she would not stop talking politics and she was ugly about it.
Finally, I began to confront her every single time and she cut me off completely from her life.
She died without ever speaking to me again, and I am ashamed to say I’ve never missed her.

I don’t see any reason to have liberals in my life. They add so little...
I often feel the same way myself.
