Understand that the Dems want us (conservatives) to think that we are defeated. This is Alinsky tactics. Don’t buy the propaganda! We need to continue to fight!

“So all of the whip counts we have seen are wrong. All the Republicans are lying. Obama basically cancelled his vacation with kids for some serious arm twisting. The fact that of the 37 Democrats we need 36 are pretty damn firm NO, with a couple dozen left out there to get ONE vote from. All of the left leaning MSMers are in on this deception doing this just to make the defeat even more soul crushing. No your logic sounds more rational to me. /sarc”

Wanna bet on it?

You know, I’m not saying Obama and the Dem’s don’t have to work for it. Many things in life are routine and predictable but still require an enormous amount of effort.

When Obama was elected President with these huge Democratic majorities and HCR as his number one priority, there was simply no way to stop it forever.

Pelosi will have the votes. Period. Not saying HCR can’t get gummed up again in the Senate during reconciliation. That could happen, though I think if it does we still get stuck with the old Senate bill as law.

One way or the other, and in the face of public opposition, we are going to get health care reform. That’s the result of the American people voting for socialists.

Judge Andrew Nepolitano said Levin’s suit will not receive a favorable judgement because the Judicial branch does not meddle in Legislative Branch rules of operation

To be effective he must find other grounds

My interpretation of what I saw

Yes, I’ll resist ... even after a vote. No matter which way it goes. If we lose, repeal.

I wish there were a way for all of us who cannot attend to show our support so all that are there know they have that much more support across the country. They DO but...it would be nice to be unified at noon on Saturday with ALL of us there or elsewhere.

Remember Hands Across America in the 80’s???

What a fun story and how nice of you to say those nice things as well. Thank YOU. I believe in the power of prayer right up until the last moment.

You're welcome! I believe in that power too! And as much as I know anything, I know that Christ wants to help US, but mooooooooore need to request His services.

Praying alongside you, and inviting everyone to join ... Rosary for Peace

O-hole’s attack on SCOTUS during SOTU might be a bigger mistake than anybody thought.

Getting help may not be that easy. Jes sayin. Although at least with Medicare, you could choose not to enroll if you didn’t want it, and there were no repercussions except personally getting stuck with any medical bills. Bummercare forces either a purchase or an onerous tax.

I am concerned about violence ... anti-war protest across the street, LaRaza on Sunday ... but we're going. This the their last chance, in my book, to listen to peaceful protest, then I'm done with peaceful and on to my first foray into civil disobedience.

Not one inch more, not one penny more. We've retreated enough during the last 100 years.

Getting help may not be that easy. Jes sayin.,

I agree but then it wasn't easy for our founding fathers while writing the Declaration of Independence. They were threatened with death by hanging from King George III. That did not stop them.

“Be careful lad, Washington will likely be a violent place at some point over the weekend....”

Add to the mix the fact that 250,000 illegal aliens and their supporters will be protesting in Washington this weekend......

Agreed. Take care of your self. Pocket some condoms to use as tourniquets, and take some crazy glue for quick cut binding. Keep that video camera handy.

Mistake? A mistake does not equal ignorance/lack of information. The e and the o are nowhere near each other on the keyboard, so it’s not a “mistake.” “Sew” and “sow” aren’t remotely close in meaning, so that’s not a mistake, either. It’s somebody trying to quote something they’ve never bothered to look up and doesn’t even happen to know that there are three English words that sound the same, are spelled differently and have totally different meanings: So, sew and sow.

It reminds me of Tony Soprano or one of his crew, all masters at malapropisms, referring to Prince Machiavelli as Prince Matchabelli.

‘Nuff said.
