(Vanity)Beck promotes latest rally to protest health care reform

Posted on 03/18/2010 2:59:02 PM PDT by jakerobins

Beck hosted Rep. King, who announced March 20 rally on Capitol Hill. During the March 18 edition of his radio show, Glenn Beck gave King a platform to announce a "huge" anti-health care reform rally that would take place on March 20 on Capitol Hill. King stated: "We can beat them if we fill this capitol city up full of patriotic Americans. If tens of thousands pour into this city again, like they have done numerous times before -- pack this Capitol, jam this Capitol, surround the place, don't let anybody in or anybody out -- they will have to capitulate." King explained that he had requested a permit for a "huge press conference" at noon on March 20, and that it was "the one thing we could do to kill this at this point."

You ever have anything good to say about people on our side

Not particularly if they are radio hosts.

trying fighting to beat these fascist down

Uh.. radio hosts are trying to make a dollar.

or are you one of them?

Yeah, I'm trying to make a dollar.

I just don't set myself up to appear smarter or better than others in order to do it.

How about you?

When you have the audience they have and can be as effective as they are at getting the word out, maybe you'll have a point, until then, STFU.

You sound like a petulant, jealous child.

You first, cornholio.

Go ahead on and let the magic voice on the radio do your thinking for you.

Some folks need that, I guess.

You sound like a petulant, jealous child.

Because I refuse to be told how to think be a magic voice on the radio?

OK, chief, whatever you say.

...dittos on an earlier post of STFU! I’ve gone to every rally that’s been in DC and I live 2 hours away. I have a job, kids and a life. Beck’s show was able to get about 10,000 people to the capitol for a Bachman event a few months ago with 3 days notice. This should get even more with the time issue. Either go or STFU about it!!

WooHoo! I missed the memo where I wasn't entitled to an opinion. Sieg heil right back at you.

Either go or STFU about it!!

Now let's round up everyone who doesn't agree with you and have 'em shot, Adolph.

You need to "STFU".

Go there, have fun, make a difference. I still say planning is lacking.

...you are a sad little soul. “Planning is lacking” is obvious. We’re a small army compared to what we’re up against. People like you don’t help the situation.

Beck’s show last night was one of the best hours of TV i have ever seen. Started w an SEIU smock and letter that Andy Stern sent to him, comparing it to a mob horse’s head. then he proceeded to expose the Marxism of the Democrats and how this bill will lead directly to a full single-payer program by 2014.

Fox News just stated that it could be voted on as early as Sunday evening. Congress is speeding this through, if you know a bunch of people who can’t attend in D.C., I would suggest holding a protest at a State Capitol or City Hall near you!

Who's being told how to think? Listening to someones opinion is letting them do your thinking for you?

You obviously have some confidence issues, very insecure in your own being, cornholio

No, not as long as one realizes it is just another person's opinion.

Where do you get this blindly following radio hosts crap?

You're projecting, people of sound minds and convicted in their beliefs can listen and even enjoy listening to other opinions that they happen to agree with without "blindly" following them.

Your problem is you could never do the same thing let alone make a buck at it, is that you Randi Rhodes, lol!!

Are you currently still in prison, hangin' with convicts?

Your problem is you could never do the same thing

What, pretend I know better than a bunch of radio listeners?
Yeah, you got me. Not my bag. No interest in it.

they are not morons to be directed by their "betters".

Petulant children object to arrogant radio hosts? Wow.
I learn something new every day. I thank you for the information.

I, for one, am very proud of my congressman, Steve King, and resent you calling him a "magic voice on the radio." He is trying his damnedest to fight this abomination.

I'm not sure what your intentions were in posting here, but all you've accomplished is proving yourself to be one big ass jerk.

You don't like talk radio...so what? You're offended King went on Beck's show to announce this? He just wanted to get the word out to a large audience, which Beck has.

You've got real issues dude, and you're projecting way too much here. Maybe you could dial it down a little, it's not all really about you...seriously...with your screen name, perhaps you should be somewhat more...oh I don't know...humble...

Okay, enough with idiots hijacking threads...lets get back to the issue.

I wish I lived close enough to go Saturday but I implore anyone within driving distance to get to D.C. and make a stand for us.

Stand for FREEDOM!

If ever there was a time for peaceful protest it is *now*

Congress is going to Slaughter your wonderful US Constitution.

If you can walk, walk.

If you can drive, drive.

If you can Bus, Bus.

If you can fly, fly.

Forget the money, spend what it takes. Take time off work.

“A Republic, if you can keep it it.”

Politicians are going to violate the constitution, and your silence will only make them more brazen. Demonstrate peacefully but boldly that you wish to keep faith with the founding fathers, not slavery and dependence under Big Brother.

Mobilize friends and neighbors, club together to hire buses.

If I was with you and not an Ocean apart, and a US Citizen,
I might say “Lets Roll”

Hammer the MEDICARE/SS CUT & GUT mad grannies and gramps VOTE and make phone calls, a lot more than college kids do. We are old hands at protesting. Get your local talk radio host on the ball.

This is from a 2007 contact list of congressional aides. Some might not be there any longer, but worth a try. The ones on the one post are senate aides, a few have bounced back, it’s worth the effort to clog up their email system along with the phones, and 1/3rd of these senators are up for re-election.

Mail must be inspected for anthrax.

Contact congressional aides.

And here are toll-free numbers we can use to call any Senators or Reps.

At the first number below you must wait through a tape recording urging you to tell your Rep or Senator to vote “yes” for the health care bill. Just hang on and when the recording is over, you will get the Capitol operator. Just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Then you will either talk to an aid or have the chance to leave a message for him/her to vote NO on the health care bill.

When you use the second number and the Capitol operator comes on, just ask for your Rep or Senator’s office. Every time I use this number I get the Rep or Senator’s answer machine, so it may be set up that way all the time...to go to their answer machine. Either way you can leave a message to vote NO on the health care bill!

We need to use these toll free numbers that have been set up for the health care/ BO supporters and illegals to use! After all they are FREE!
