Dennis Kucinich included. He did tell Ed Schultz that the reason he changed his vote was because of the actions being used to ‘undermine’ the President.
YEah, riiiiiight.
Every day they pick up more votes. I believe they will eventually get it thru, but it will be so discredited and tainted that it won’t hold up.
It is an illegitmate vote and will go down in court.
Saw an ad this morning on Weather Underground that had some doctors group I had never heard of touting Bummercare as “No pre-existing conditions limitation” and a bunch of other fluff stuff. How can one possibly get the “skinny” on a bill that is so bloomin’ fat?
Bart Gordon was born the same day as John Belushi (Jan. 24, 1949). This is far more disgraceful than anything Belushi ever did.

Another “lean Yes” vote who voted no previously, Betsy Markey, will reportedly vote for the health care bill, swayed by the positive CBO score according to the Denver Post.
Markey, D-Fort Collins, is one of 39 House members who voted against a health reform bill that passed in November. That group has been courted intensely in recent weeks as Democrats look for 216 votes in support of a compromise measure, which scraps the so-called ‘public option,’ among other changes, from the House bill they earlier opposed.
Sources tell the Denver Post that Markey will announce her support for the new bill in a conference call with reporters at 3:15 p.m.
As I said, Markey was a lean Yes. So her vote does not fully change the dynamic. But if a good number of those wavering Yes votes come home, Markey will help to balance out the losses from the Stupak bloc. Passage definitely has some momentum now.
UPDATE: If everyone in my undecided column who voted for the bill last time comes around and votes for it again, Democrats would have 217 votes. But that includes some very conservative Reps.
Carney, Dahlkemper, Cuellar, Ellsworth, Foster, Kaptur, Bean, Rahall, Mitchell, Ortiz, Pomeroy, Space, Michaud
And that assumes that all five of the former No votes in my “lean yes” category come through, which is by no means secure:
Baird, Tanner, Kosmas, Boccieri, S.Murphy
Incidentally, the count is now 193-206, 204-210 with leaners.
UPDATE II: Travis Childers and his odd moustache will vote no. I expected this, but had him in the undecided camp. So make it 193-207, with leaners 204-211.
On politically hot bills, Rats often manage to get votes just short of passage when they are trying to trade off looking good to their base with escaping party punishment at the polls. This one is not just hot, it is at plasma temperature.
I'm just wondering if Mister Obamas...ahem..."research" team might have found a few skeletons in Mister Gordon's closet.
I have no knowledge here (not from TN either)...

Well, the US doesn’t send an ambassador to Wales, so Bart Gordon won’t get that. I would have suggested the Falkland Islands, but since Hillary wants to give those to Argentina, maybe St. Helena, or perhaps East Timor.

This bill is vile and makes Christians pay for abortions. I believe that our Lord’s patience with our society’s laissez-faire attitude towards this is running thin. This is a line-in-the-sand where He will take drastic action. The signs all around reflect that.

We turned on c-span in time to see a very *uncomfortable* clerk reading it.. just when she was saying “Pelosi shames the dem party.. “ .. the libs got pretty upset over the whole thing. .. Anyway, I like Cantor. I wish clips like this made the news.
I can’t wait to see that woman frogmarched off to the nuthouse...lol. You just know that when she has to face the music of her corruption next fall, she is going to claim ‘temporary insanity’. It looks permanent to me though.
