For the last several years, Sean Hannity and the Freedom Alliance charity have conducted Freedom Concerts across America. Theyve told you that they are raising money to pay for the college tuition of the children of fallen soldiers and to pay severely wounded war vets. And on Friday Night, Hannity will be honored with an award for this Outstanding Community Service by a Radio Talk Show Host at Talkers Magazines convention.
But its all a huge scam.

Mark Levin would never be a party to any scam and the same goes for Sean Hannity and Oliver North.
Yes!!!!! Very suspect and quite surprised to see the self anointed enlightened-ones on FR are not connecting the dots.
No, only my third (and last) post here on this thread.
Well I don’t know whether to thank the Lord or beg you to stay.
It’s just amazing. Stunning, actually, given Shussel’s lousy reputation and the fact that only her distorted side was presented. Thankfully, Wpin, posted a separate thread with “some facts,” which I linked above.
"And after claiming in written letters to donors that 100% of the money donated, via the Freedom Concerts or otherwise, to the scholarships would go directly to the scholarships and not to expenses..."
Thank you onyx... you are a trustworthy Freeper.
Post the letter.
“Freedom Alliance, the charity founded by North and the beneficiary of the concerts, just got an “F” rating from the leading watchdog group, American Institute of Philanthropy.”

About Sean Hannity’s Freedom Concerts
Since 2003, over $10 million has been raised for the Freedom Alliance Scholarship Fund through the Freedom
Concerts and generous donations from the Sean Hannity Show and its listeners. The Scholarship Fund is designated for the education of children of U.S. service members who have been killed or 100% permanently disabled in an operational mission or training accident. All net proceeds from ticket sales (after musical talent, production, promotion and venue expenses) are donated to the Scholarship Fund, aiding greatly in this effort to assist hundreds of families who have lost their loved ones while they were protecting and defending our nation and our freedoms.

Watchdog group says several fundraising groups do poor job
By PHILIP RUCKER, Washington Post

WASHINGTON — Americans gave millions of dollars in the past year to veterans charities designed to help troops wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan, but several of the groups spent relatively little money on the wounded, according to a leading watchdog organization and federal tax filings.
Eight veterans charities, including some of the nation’s largest, gave less than a third of the money raised to the causes they champion, far below the recommended standard, the American Institute of Philanthropy says in a report.
The institute’s report suggests that 20 of the 29 military charities studied were managing their resources poorly, paying high overhead costs and direct-mail fundraising fees and, in some cases, providing their leaders with six-figure salaries.
The American Institute of Philanthropy’s report used letter grades based largely on the charities’ fundraising costs and the percentage of money raised that was spent on charitable activities.
The grades were:

I will check them out. Thanks for the link. I had not hear of this charity watchdog group. I still think that Debbie needs to articulate that she has a beef with Sean over a guest than Sean had on. She was really venomous over it. I posted the link to the thread I posted about that article. Some of her blog posts pan out, and some don’t. She’s pretty “catty” in her remarks back at ya (if you post on her blog). I thought she was way over the top, unfair and wrong on what she said about Hannity having this disgraced, democrat on his show. Hannity let the guy talk, run his mouth, and hang himself. Hannity has never said anything that I’ve heard to be “anti-Semitic”.
well, right out of the gate, they identify themselves. didn’t read the rest. i get moveon.org’s emails to know what they are up to. don’t want to ruin the rest of the evening.
Veterans Charities Ratings
The American Institute of Philanthropy recently released a report rating various veterans charities on how well they support the causes they were created to support.
We were surprised at some of the ratings in this report; not at others. Before you donate your hard-earned dollars to any charitable organization, check it out to see how much of its revenues actually go to support its charitable purpose, and how much goes to administrative expenses, salaries, and fundraising. You may be surprised!
