For the last several years, Sean Hannity and the Freedom Alliance “charity” have conducted “Freedom Concerts” across America. They’ve told you that they are raising money to pay for the college tuition of the children of fallen soldiers and to pay severely wounded war vets. And on Friday Night, Hannity will be honored with an award for this “Outstanding Community Service by a Radio Talk Show Host” at Talkers Magazine’s convention.
But it’s all a huge scam.

I imagine most people who are attending the concerts aren’t doing it for the charity factor. They are paying to see the artist. It cost $$$$$$$ to put on concerts. Lots of money.
The key factor is this little blurb from the homepage:
All net proceeds from ticket sales (after musical talent, production, promotion and venue expenses) are donated to the Scholarship Fund, aiding greatly in this effort to assist hundreds of families who have lost their loved ones while they were protecting and defending our nation and our freedoms.
Valid points..we shall se..but what doesn’t appear to make any sense, is why, when Scheussel contacted Hannity for explanation/clarification, he didn’t give her any answers. She is NOT a left-winger out to do a hatchet job...if he has nothign to hide, he should have answered her questions..
You might want to get this over to Hannity for his rebuttal.

Ted Nugent was pretty big for a few years with it and he hasn’t been over the past few. That’s the only “he” I can think of.
You guys better stop biting the heads off of people that are on the Conservative side. Man oh man.... you’re not going to agree with 100% of what anyone says as that is a fact of life. Gosh, as Ben Franklin said “We need to hang together or we will surely hang alone”. Sound like a bunch of three year old kids that did not get their ice cream. We need ALL the damn support we can get especially in the media... Is he perfect? NO! Is he on our side... yes! You want Sean to go, Then Beck, The levin.... man oh man we’ll be left with NOTHING.
No it doesn’t. People paid for a ticket to a concert. They got what they paid for. After all expenses are paid then there are donations made to the charity. Jim Bakker took people’s money with a promise of something that did not exist.
My point was that the tax returns are not going to reflect assets (or maybe held as future liabilities) for scholarships. Perhaps the don’t give out the money until the kids are actually in college.

I am pretty sure that’s where she’s from. She is from that general area. Last I knew, she still lived is SE Michigan and, I thought, Dearborn. She’s been watching the radical Jihadis in Michigan for years.
Debbie can’t read a tax return. The return shows over five million going to the charity, with another 3 million carried into the next year. This is consistent with the 80+ percent rating by Charity Navigator.

I typically would side with you as I can’t stand the in-fighting around here. (And I can’t stand Hannity, but hope this isn’t true.)
However, if Sean Hannity and the Freedom Alliance are doing what they are being accused of, then Sean needs to go. This isn’t about disagreeing with one of his “points” or discussions...it’s about frauding people out of their money and more importanly, frauding our soliders and their families.
No one should want someone like that on their side.
But we will see what develops from this. Hopefully Sean will have a solid explanation for this.

I’d like to believe you but facts appear to be facts. These are publicly available documents.
Their are plenty of Hannity bashers on here that don’t see it that way. They are just like liberals...
