I quite agree. We have several public entertainment facilities already and non of them have ever been self-supporting. All are currently requiring annual influxes of property tax dollars to keep them running. Please help
Hmmm....my husband, who was once a Director of Procurement/Contracts for a large company....usually says...well...the “lowest” bidder is NOT always the best...in the end it sometimes costs MORE....because they just pad the project later with change orders.
Can’t do it. Lowest bid means nada. Local bid means nada. “Best bid” not even an option.
If local gubmint is a chip off the old Fed, they will award the job to anyone who will finance their next term. Corruption knows no boundaries.
