Is that the exact same product an same size????
I doubt it.
You can make your own for pennies. I use a 50/50 mixture of salt and baking soda. 3 tbs of each dry mixed in a sealable container. Then ONE teaspoon of the dry mixture in a pint of warm water. I use the nasal irrigation squeeze bottle to cleanse my sinuses since my operation two years ago..............
I’ve no idea where you are getting your info from. I have been buying the Walmart brand (EQUATE)of saline solution for probably 8-10 years and it has never been close to $.95
In fact it has been around the $3.00 level for as long as I can remember.
I dunno. But it seems like every time I top at the store to pick up a few things like bread and milk, dog biscuits, yogurt, cheese, and some other miscellaneous item or two, the bill is always like $39 when I expect it to be half that, and I walk out carrying two little plastic sacks to the car.
the price of bananas is usually a good indicator since few are grown in the USA...
How about condos in Florida that went for ~$1M in 2006 going for <$500K now...
The refill packets are what I don't buy. My doctor gave me the original bottle and I use my own mixture for the refills after the original packet ran out............
.."and now government mandated light bulbs cost $6.95"
Cups of yogurt have suddenly shrunk from 8 oz to 6 oz. Same price, but 1/4 of the product is missing. Various brands.
Try to find a 1/2 gallon of ice cream in the grocery store.
OUTSTANDING post! Thanks. I’ll see if I can find some examples (looking for old receipts...sometime in the not-to-distant future).
Stalin, Mao, Mussolini, all starved millions of their people to death. This Death Care is going to get expensive - more than anyone can imagine. It's "free." There's going to be too many people abusing the system, and the herd will have to be culled. (Washington is no longer about "We the People.")
The only things I really see fluctuate (rise) in price is dog food. Not too long ago I remember Purina Dog Chow being $11.68 for a medium sized bag. Now it’s $14.96.
I spend at least $40 every time I walk into a grocery store. Sometimes that seems like a steal for what I’m buying, sometimes I hang my head and wonder where it went. That’s why I’ve started frequenting many grocery stores and find the best price for things. Our local Giant Eagle has great BOGO deals on meats and cheese almost every week. Sometimes Rite Aid has the best deals for shampoos and soaps. When they do, I stock up and freeze things or buy an extra bottle of shampoo.
I only buy things at Wal-Mart that I can’t get in one stop shopping at other places now.
A woman I know bought a spare house for $35k about 3 yrs ago, trying to sell it now for $25k, got no takers — and it’s a good sturdy house in a low-crime, low-tax town. When you can’t sell a house like that for peanuts, things are alarmingly bad.
I have noticed that too. We are in a lot of trouble folks. If the Deathcare passes, it will get even worse.
My Jack Daniels went from $19. couple of years ago to 21
It cost more because it is now more popular. Don’t ya know?
As an aside, does anyone else’s Wal-Mart have absolutely horrible looking produce? For the past 6 months, the celery has looked gangly and the iceberg lettuce heads are soft as a pillow. I don’t know where they get their produce, but it can’t all be locally because everywhere else I shop has great looking produce. I didn’t know if maybe it was just my Wal-Mart.
