Ive been arguing the case against ObamaCare for more than a year. Ive argued that it will raise costs, reduce freedom, and federalize the funding and regulation of a sixth of the nations economy. Ive also pointed out that it is based on a fundamental misunderstanding of why medical costs are rising, and would destroy the only trend working against health care inflation the rise of consumer-driven health care.
But now, Ive lost my passion for continuing the debate. Ive lost my motivation to identify the bills flaws and failures. Ive even lost my anger at the arrogance of Washington politicians who think they know best how to manage my medical care and rearrange my personal finances

I think the list of those who refuse to comply will include individuals, businesses, and states.
There will be many court challenges. SCOTUS will eventually have to deal with this.
I, for one, will NOT buy health insurance just because it is mandatory, and when (not if) my premiums rise, I will cancel.
If they fine me, I will sue.

The bottom line is, consent of the governed. If we don’t consent then the fascists are sol. Several states are already preparing to not consent. We as individuals need to do same. They only have the power we give them.

The Dhimmies have certainly eaten deeply of the “insane root” but there is not reason to follow their example. I’m not sure what actual resistance is needed at this point, because much depends upon what the House actually does, vs what the media tells us they are thinking about doing.
Let us hope that we don’t have to take this much further than shutting down the telephones in side the Beltway this week, and that enough Congress Critters get the message that none of what they are doing is acceptable. I think this entire healthcare controversy is almost over, because there clearly are not the votes to pass any of it in either house of Congress, and the American people are not going to tolerate this incredibly arrogant abuse of the Constitution.

I respectfully disagree. We have a higher duty, one articulated 234 years ago:

I don't see where I have an option. It looks to me like I am locked into the damnable system. My heathcare insurance is part of my employee benefits package. I cannot opt out of them unless my spouse has a plan that allows for that (not the case).
When Øbozocare rears its ugly head my moronic employer will just pass the extra costs along to me.
I prefer the Cloward-Piven approach. If they succeed in ruining our healthcare I will do what I can to overload it and drive it into the ground. I will do this by becoming a hypochondriac and serial emergency room abuser. These systems are already overtaxed and won't take much more. Additionally Øbozocare will drive the best practitioners out of the business adding even more strain.
