Prominent Redstate.com commentator Erick Erickson will join CNN, the network announced Tuesday, welcoming the "self-described ‘obsessive news junkie' " to their team.

........

The Gaggle and NEWSWEEK have been covering Erickson's work over the past few years with his steady rise to prominence in the blogosphere, and now beyond. It will be interesting to see how and if he'll attack the MSM—the mainstream media—now that he's officially joining it.

These people are utter fools. The MSM hires one or a handful of conservatives and suddenly they think they can alinsky the conservative movement?

Look here newsweek twits. If you have one conservative employee amongst a sea of hundreds of liberals, you aren't striking a balance.

Good grief!

Attacking you will be easy until you end your bias and fix your coverage. That's the deal.

Easy. It's still going to be a ratio of like 99 liberals to 1 conservative. Its not going to make much difference to anything.

I had to watch CNN yesterday for awhile in the doctor’s waiting room, ironically enough.

Forget the politics, good grief, that is the most boring news network. I mean absolutely lifeless, I could barely stay awake.

The hosts are dull & not bright & the production looks to be done by a high school class.

So I take it that Ms. Newsweek writer is admitting there are currently virtually no conservatives on the networks?
