I don’t think the slaughter rule will be overturned by a federal court. If the bill passes, will it stand? Parts of it probably will.

First it has to be challenged. Then it must be argued. Then judged, then appealed. The way you seem to be saying it, the process could stretch out beyond Obama’s presidency, by which time the bills from his “Historic” deficit will begin to come due. And then...well, it can be repealed on the grounds of being unfeasible. I’m up for challenging it on the grounds of budgetary feasibility at the same time a Constitutional challenge is issued.
