Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) is going a step beyond simply pledging to fight efforts to pass the health care bill -- she's openly pronouncing that people should personally declare it unconstitutional and defy it, depending on how it ends up getting passed.
At a rally at the Minnesota State Capitol on Saturday, Bachmann declared illegitimate the potential route that House Democrats could take to pass the health care bill. She was specifically railing against a parliamentary tactic by which the House could skip voting on the Senate bill by declaring it passed as part of the reconciliation bill. Bachmann pronounced this to be taxation without representation. "They have just started a revolution -- and they did it," said Bachmann.

I think a lawsuit on the Constitutionality of the bill is a better idea.
I think we should all be calling the number Rush gave out and tell them in no uncertain terms that we do not intend to enroll for Obamacare if it passes.
It might get their attention faster if, on April 15, every taxpayer would send the IRS a notice in which he states that he hereby deems that his taxes have been paid in full, so there is no need to file a return.
I agree but I don’t think we can count on the Republicans in power to do this. Therefore, it is entirely up to the citizens to more or less do a “sit-in” and just say no to the commies.

Of course, the Demonazis will do what has always been done - make an example to ensure compliance!

Something like this? Someone refuses to buy health insurance, is fined, and pays the fine. The person then sues for a refund of the fine on grounds that the law was not constitutionally enacted. Use as the precedent the Supreme Court ruling against the line item veto, as discussed here yesterday.
Ok this is where a new Republican majority comes into play and where they will need fortitude. They can approve a budget where IRS is starved of money, a minimum of resources for agents, new computer systems etc. I know Obama’s propagandists would howl and say the Pubbies were starving citizens but if they can play chicken with the Obama and play real hardball, that would bring this whole thing to a standstill. I worked for the IRS back in the 1980’s and the morale then was lousy and that was when they had tax court in their corner, where you were guilty before being innocent, now for a couple a thousand dollars for a good lawyer you can thwart almost any IRS issue. My Wife’s boss went this route, paid about 3 grand to a local tax attorney and kept the IRS tied up for 4 years and they settled for pennies on the dollar.
