I'd rather have him impeached, for treason, before then.

If he is not confronted and slapped down right now (and I mean right now), he will continue on unabated at (1)destroying the Republic, and (2)consolidating his own power.

By the time next January rolls around (I am assuming he next the extra few months to tighten his stranglehold), he will declare the election null and void, and will consider seating only those who were members of the previous congress.

Further, it will be at this point he will demand that all firearms in the possession of private citizens immediately be brought to the nearest police station.

Along with that, he will declare that, due to the "national emergency", and in line with previous presidential directives, the country will be split up into 10 major federal regions, headed by former governors. This will obviate the need for states.

And finally, he will declare that, due to that selfsame "national emergency", the Constitution of the United States will henceforth be held "in suspension", it's effect on future law will also being null and void.

Think I'm kidding? Emboldened by success in passing ramming through "Health Care Reform", and maybe a few others to come, I can easily see this scenario unfolding.

Stop him now, or lock and load.

CA....
