Rep. John Boccieri, Ohio-16 Rep. Jason Altmire, PA-4 Rep. Barty Gordon, Tenn-6 Rep. Brian Baird, WA-3
Astroturfing is Obama and Axelrod’s speciality .
“They still need a dozen, perhaps a few more.”
And they are pulling out all the stops to get them. The democrat leadership has staked their very existence on passing a socialist takeover of the health care industry. They are close enough to closing the deal they can smell it. And they don’t have to sway one single Republican. This squabble is all inside the family.
No, they don’t have the votes to pass this monstrosity. Today. But the vote isn’t today.
They will do anything to get to 216 or 217. It will pass.
That which supports ObamaCare will be sterilized and there are no exceptions.
Folks, we all need to understand that we no longer live in a representative democratic republic. This malignant government has been allowed to grow so powerful and so wealthy for so long, that they have now successfully created a protected political ruling class, and BOTH the Dems and the GOP are part of this superclass. They’re not going to give it up.
It doesn’t matter if some of the Dems get voted out in November after they pass Obamacare. They’ll take one for the team and they’ll be rewarded with safe positions in the government bureaucracy.
Our vote no longer really matters. This will not be repealed once enacted. We’re watching the literal destruction of our nation and our own enslavement unfold before our very eyes.
bttt.
Will they be going to his office tomorrow? His political career will crash if he votes yes...and where are they meeting, at his office and which one?
freep mail
That’s what the French (1788) and Russian (1914) aristocracies thought they had accomplished too. Where are they?
They went down the toilet..
I don't know when Clyburn said he had 4 "new" Yes votes (no source link in this thread), but we already knew Altmire and Gordon were Yes votes, so if Clyburn is correct, that's only +2 Yes.
In the meantime, according to NRCC, the number of No votes has increased +2 to 204 No, 188 Yes. If Clyburn is correct and we add his 2 (not 4) new Yes votes. that would be 204 No, 190 Yes, 37 Undecided.
None of these sources are 100% certain, of course.
The Hill is not reporting them as changed yet. What is the source?

“...they have now successfully created a protected political ruling class, and BOTH the Dems and the GOP are part of this superclass. Theyre not going to give it up.”
And the state-run media is part and parcel of same.
And that’s why they all crucify Sarah Palin every chance they get. There is no way they will allow her to upset their apple cart.
They didn’t change their minds. They knew all along they would vote for it. They just held out for a bigger bribe.
I Just got thru the Capitol Hill switchboard with ease, which means that we are not lighting up the phones.
Please beg friends and family to call.

With so many “Undecided” at this point, odds are most will vote YES. We are seeing the fall of America right before our eyes....harder to have hope today.
Obama: "I'm going to keep coming back until you lose or vote yes."
Nice work...25 out of 37 tells me that this is a done deal knowing the way the Dems operate. It’s over.
Back to the unemployment line for every one of them.
If only 1/3 of the Undecideds vote No it will be close. If the Dems get more than 2/3 it will pass.
